Grey, commander of the Custodians, stood behind Qin Mo, reporting several matters.
None of them were particularly important, merely minor issues of low urgency before the next large-scale war on Brumm.
"Soul Blight." Qin Mo murmured the name of the illness and turned to look at Grey.
After their eyes met, Grey heard Qin Mo issue an order. "Write a letter in my name and send it to Talon Terra. Have it announced at the medical symposium. The general message should be this: the medical scholars' speculation is correct. The final stage of Soul Blight is becoming one of the walking dead."
Naturally, Grey accepted the order without hesitation.
A virtual letter appeared in the blank space at the edge of his electronic vision, and everything he wanted to write manifested directly upon it.
In the end, an animation of the letter folding itself and being sent appeared in the corner of Grey's vision. Qin Mo's order had been carried out.
Yet both of them, without discussing it, continued thinking about Soul Blight.
