At the entrance to Skull Fortress, Yao En roared as he redeployed the armed forces under his command.

Every Custodian was permitted to hold command authority. The highest level of such authority could even surpass that of an army group commander or a warship captain.

Yet among all Custodians, only Yao En possessed a standing force of his own: the Soulless One regiment that had fought alongside him in the Battle of Cadia centuries ago.

Although the regiment's personnel had gone through several cycles of recruitment, growth, retirement, and reenlistment, its designation had always remained, as unshakable as Yao En's command authority.

But even as a Custodian, Yao En still had to waste his breath—not to prove that command belonged to him, but to make the military communications staff relay his orders immediately, pulling the Soulless One regiment's soldiers out of their scattered battles throughout Skull Fortress and reassembling them into a complete regiment.

Once the regiment had assembled, Yao En would also mobilize large quantities of weapons, vehicles, ammunition, and other supplies exclusively assigned to it... but that depended on gathering the regiment in time.
