Ahriman saw Taifon's end, his remaking, and the future remakings and endings he would undergo, a process that would continue without end until the god he revered most decided he no longer had any value.

Taifon had long since become part of Nurgle's power. Like those daemons, even if he were utterly destroyed, he could be remade, because this was not the resurrection of the dead, but the creation of another new being bearing the identity of the deceased.
