What followed the explosion was not Vashtorr's servants. None of the various daemons trapped and tormented within machinery appeared.
At the bottom of the smooth circular area cleared by the living daemon bomb, a solitary figure slowly emerged from the jagged Webway.
It was a hunched figure holding a forge hammer.
Qin Mo narrowed his eyes at the figure ahead. His first reaction was wild joy, because Vashtorr had been arrogant enough to emerge alone from the very beginning.
But then he became wary, because he did not believe Vashtorr was a warlike or foolish Warp demigod. This thing was exceptionally cunning and cruel. If he were not certain of survival, he would never have come out alone to face Qin Mo.
"I did not come to fight." The heads hanging from Vashtorr's body spoke in a "material language" Qin Mo could understand. "I used bombs to clear this place only because that Blackstone made me uncomfortable. I find it difficult to organize my thoughts within Blackstone's range. I hope you will forgive me."
Qin Mo held a Chainsword in one hand and the Crone Sword in the other.
The former was merely a weapon forged from the reverence and fantasies of countless people in the Tyran Sector, along with the blood of the former Chaos Warlord.
The latter, however, was a longsword forged from the finger bone of an Eldar God, capable of forming connections with the other Eldar Gods.
Qin Mo did not listen to a word Vashtorr said. While Guilliman stood solemnly and mobilized the troops, Qin Mo scanned the surrounding terrain, seeking a way to kill Vashtorr rather than let him escape.
No matter what this Vashtorr was, they had to try killing him. What if he was the real Vashtorr?
