Background / History

Tang San is the son of Tang Hao, the former Clear Sky Douluo, and Ah Yin, a hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor who had taken human form. After Ah Yin’s death, Tang Hao concealed their identities in Holy Spirit Village for six years while avoiding Spirit Hall’s pursuit. Tang San later learns that he carries the dormant Blue Silver Emperor bloodline through his mother. 183 217

As a Shrek Academy student, Tang San repeatedly acts in defense of his companions. He confronts Huang Yan over Ma Hongjun’s punishment, prepares hidden weapons, and joins Dai Mubai and Xiao Wu in attacking with Blue Silver Grass, Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, and close-combat techniques. 31 32

When Ma Hongjun is abducted, Tang San unsuccessfully begs Ye Lingling to save him, offering hidden-weapon blueprints and medicinal herbs. He later confronts Ning Rongrong over her involvement, but leaves unable to rescue Ma Hongjun himself. 41 42

Tang San’s situation worsens when Xiao Wu is exposed as a hundred-thousand-year transformed Soul Beast. He learns both Xiao Wu’s identity and Tang Hao’s past as the Clear Sky Douluo, but immediately declares that Xiao Wu’s species does not change their bond. 183

During Spirit Hall’s operation against Xiao Wu, Tang San is trapped alongside her and Tang Hao.
