Akimichi Denji wasn't in a hurry. He took a sip of hot tea and studied the two people before him, each lost in their own thoughts.

He'd said it on purpose.

He wanted both Hinata's Gentle Fist and her chakra for himself.

"I'd also like to train with Denji," Hyuga Hinata said first, her voice so soft it was barely audible.

But both of them heard her.

Hyuga Hiashi looked at Hyuga Hinata in surprise. It was the first time he'd heard his daughter express what she wanted.

Realizing they might misunderstand, Hyuga Hinata added, "I want to become stronger."

"As a member of the Main House, if I become stronger and gain more power, I can uphold the Main House's honor."

As if she'd found a reason, she nodded as though trying to convince herself. "That's right. That's all there is to it."

Hyuga Hiashi froze for a moment, then smiled with satisfaction.

He certainly wouldn't stop Hinata from thinking that way.

"Then could I ask Denji to guide Hinata as well? I've heard Denji is skilled in Taijutsu. Training with him would surely help Hinata."

"As for payment, I'll make it up to you later."

I did it! Hinata rejoiced inwardly.

Her excuse was a little dishonest, since it wasn't her true reason. But it was still one of the things she wanted.

The result was good.

Akimichi Denji considered it. Helping Hinata was something he wanted to do, too.

On the one hand, it would give him a chance to learn the Gentle Fist. On the other, he could use the opportunity to absorb chakra.

There was a reason Hinata couldn't withstand the pressure from Hyuga Hiashi and wasn't very strong.

Akimichi Denji could tell that, with Akimichi Choza absent, Hyuga Hiashi felt he had little to discuss with a child.

Denji didn't mind.

Back in his room, he looked at the panel. He had more Wish Points than ever before.

He had four Wish Points left, enough to raise Senju Style Taijutsu to Transcendent Mastery.

But he still held off. Taijutsu only needed steady practice to improve. With his sparring sessions with Tsunade, he'd eventually reach a higher level anyway.

He could always spend points on it once he'd mastered it.

It was better to prioritize ninjutsu, which he had no natural talent for.

His gaze shifted to the Multi-Size Technique.

Strength of a Hundred and the Multi-Size Technique complemented each other, so he needed to max out the Multi-Size Technique first.

On the surface, it simply transformed all the user's fat into chakra butterfly wings. In reality, the resulting increase in strength exceeded what the body could withstand.

A bit of a loss.

The strength gained from Butterfly Mode was temporary, but energy gained through points was permanent.

It seemed he'd have to save Butterfly Mode for life-or-death situations.

Akimichi Denji decided not to use it often, then focused his thoughts on the Multi-Size Technique and continued spending points.

The second effect, Butterfly Mode, hadn't changed.

But when he saw the last effect, Akimichi Denji's pupils suddenly contracted, and his breathing stopped for a beat.

This was even more exciting than Butterfly Mode.

Law of Heaven and Earth—the transcendent effect of the Multi-Size Technique. The brief description painted such a vivid picture that it exploded in his mind like a thunderclap.

The term came from Eastern mythology. It referred to immortals and deities imitating the laws of heaven and earth, transforming into giants that towered between heaven and earth.

There were similar abilities in the Naruto world. One was Kurama's avatar: when Naruto perfectly fused with the Nine-Tails' chakra, he transformed into a Demon Fox wreathed in blazing crimson-and-gold flames.

The other was the Sharingan's ultimate ocular technique—Susanoo. It summoned a gigantic suit of armor constructed from the ultimate Yin Release Chakra that enveloped its user.

Now he had a similar ability, too...

But then he felt as though someone had dumped cold water over him.

The description for Butterfly Mode only said it consumed energy. The description for [Law of Heaven and Earth] included the word "huge."

If Butterfly Mode cost 50, then Law of Heaven and Earth might cost well over 1,000.

With his current energy points, he couldn't even use it.

It was even more useless than Butterfly Mode.

Akimichi Denji shook his head, but he wasn't discouraged.

With enough time, he'd eventually build up the reserves to use [Law of Heaven and Earth].

But when he saw the Taotie Technique on the panel, Akimichi Denji froze.

The Taotie Technique could absorb any kind of energy, while Law of Heaven and Earth could consume energy to transform him.

What if he absorbed Natural Energy...

Would that count as Sage Mode for the Akimichi Clan?
