The three of them waited silently at the village entrance for a while.
Then they saw a green-skinned oddball approaching from the distance in an awkward pose.
A smaller green-skinned oddball followed behind the larger one.
Tenten glanced up at Tsunade in disbelief. She'd roughly figured out that they were here to find a taijutsu teacher for Akimichi Denji.
Could this really be the person they were waiting for?
Was Lady Tsunade serious?
Akimichi Denji and this green-skinned oddball clearly didn't seem like a good match.
And why did it look like he didn't have a head?!
Tsunade rubbed her forehead helplessly.
Akimichi Denji could see her toes curling awkwardly in her sandals.
Before the newcomers even came close, Tenten could already hear their brazen laughter.
As she pondered this, the green-skinned oddball had already come right up to them.
Only then did Tenten understand why he'd been walking so strangely.
He'd been walking on his hands the whole time.
The newcomer noticed Tsunade, pushed hard with his arms, and flipped himself upright, returning to a normal stance.
"Isn't that Tsunade? Ahahaha!" The green-skinned oddball in the lead let out a hearty, booming laugh. "It's been so long! Seeing you makes me think of my burning youth!"
Might Guy grinned and gave a thumbs-up, his gleaming white teeth almost reflecting the light.
"I'm fired up! Guy-sensei!" The smaller green-skinned boy behind him looked deeply moved.
"Lee! I'm so touched! Do a hundred handstand push-ups to show off our burning youth!"
"Yes, Guy-sensei!"
The two of them ignored everyone else and started doing handstand push-ups.
Only then did Tenten notice that the person following the strange green-skinned man was her classmate, Rock Lee.
These two sure got fired up over the smallest things. What was there to get fired up about?
