When the Senju Fall, the Uchiha Shall Rise

Seigetsu Senju went to make a report with the captain of the garrison, while Kawadera Uchiha found a large tree and leaned against it to rest.

There were quite a few Konoha ninja nearby. A crowd gave people a sense of security.

From behind the tree came the sound of a shuriken piercing the trunk.

He saw a shuriken embedded in the other side of the trunk, with one long and one short steel wire wrapped around it. It looked like a stray projectile from failed shuriken practice.

However, Kawadera Uchiha could understand it. The lengths of those two wires represented a secret code the Uchiha Clan used to communicate in private.

The force of over a thousand ninja continued toward the Land of Fire's border and began setting up a temporary camp somewhere along the border.

Following the code represented by the wires, Kawadera Uchiha arrived three hundred meters southeast of the camp's center.

A watchtower had just been erected here, and no squad had yet been assigned to it.

An Uchiha ninja came around from behind the watchtower.

"Brother Ishiya?"

The newcomer was Ishiya Uchiha, a Three Tomoe Jonin of the Uchiha Clan whose eye bags were far larger than his eyes.

"Outside the clan grounds, address me by my rank."

"Sorry, Jonin Ishiya."

Kawadera Uchiha hurriedly opened his Sea of Consciousness, allowing Tobirama Senju to hear their conversation.

Ishiya Uchiha said, "Kawadera, the clan and I used some methods to place you in Xingyue's squad. How have you been getting along with Xingyue?"

"If I inform on them, I'll definitely die.

"The village higher-ups aren't exactly kind people who care for their subordinates. They might deliberately leak word that an Uchiha ninja revealed the Uchiha Clan's plans.

"If the Uchiha Clan can't deal with Konoha, can't they deal with one informant?

"Unless... one of your Forbidden Techniques is the Flying Thunder God."

After laying so much groundwork, he finally stated his true objective.

He had thought Kawadera Uchiha would keep the Uchiha Clan's secret, but Kawadera Uchiha had immediately sold out Ishiya Uchiha.

"Why did you warn Xingyue?"
