Kawadera Uchiha went to the command headquarters for two reasons: first, to see how Orochimaru's arrival had affected the headquarters; second, to accept a mission and secretly carry out Orochimaru's confidential commission.
Capturing the Mist Ninja who had transplanted a Sharingan and handing him over to Orochimaru was undoubtedly a betrayal of the clan. If he mishandled it, that brute No Uchiha might very well deal with him.
As he approached the command headquarters tent, Kawadera Uchiha saw many squads gathered there.
From a distance, he spotted someone he knew, Hane Hyuga. Kawadera Uchiha walked over and asked, "What are all these people waiting here for?"
"We're waiting to file complaints with the command headquarters!"
"Complaints? What are you complaining about?"
Kawadera Uchiha's gaze plainly said: Do you have a death wish? Why would you file a complaint with No Uchiha?
The complaint box at the Konoha Military Police Force was nothing but decoration. Would filing a complaint at the Front Line actually accomplish anything?
Hane Hyuga said, "I had a mission before that was extremely dangerous. One of my teammates died during it. The command headquarters only gave us a B-rank mission reward. I refuse to accept that."
"Who? Who died? Kuroji Morino?"
Kawadera Uchiha remembered Kuroji Morino. That man was quite skilled at interrogation.
"Not him. It was another teammate. Now there are only Kuroji Morino and me left in our squad," Hane Hyuga said. "If it were before, I definitely wouldn't have dared to file a complaint. But isn't Lord Orochimaru here as the deputy commander now? The chaos on the Land of Waves battlefield is finally about to end! I'm so excited! Lord Orochimaru's assistant said he would accept complaint scrolls. Any squad that objected to their mission could submit one. We may fear the Uchiha
