Suikazan Fuguki looked up to see a samurai clad head to toe in armor blocking his path.
A muffled voice came from behind the helmet.
"You dared to assassinate my lord. I'll avenge him!"
Suikazan Fuguki grinned, revealing a mouthful of sharp teeth.
What a clumsy excuse. If you wanted the Seven Ninja Swords, just say so. You could even resort to tricks as rotten as a dead fish?
Standing over two meters tall and weighing more than three hundred pounds, with shark-like teeth and messy red hair, he was an intimidating sight.
Drawing the ninja sword from his back, Suikazan Fuguki cast a disdainful glance at the standard-issue blade. How could such a common weapon possibly suit him?
Suikazan Fuguki charged forward.
Once they exchanged blows, he found that this samurai's taijutsu was unexpectedly good. He had intended to finish him in one or two strikes, yet even after five, it was not over.
So he really was a competitor from the village.
He also noticed that the samurai's taijutsu was highly formulaic. Blocking with vertical sword movements to the left and right was his most practiced action. Suikazan Fuguki immediately changed his pattern, raising his ninja sword and slashing at the samurai's head.
Crack!
The samurai's iron helmet split apart with a crisp sound.
Suikazan Fuguki thought to himself that it was not because this standard-issue ninja sword was sharp, but because his taijutsu was strong enough.
However, a sudden change occurred!
After the helmet cracked open, a flash of red light vanished in an instant.
Suikazan Fuguki was far too familiar with that red light. It was the glow of the Sharingan.
He had personally captured a dying Three Tomoe Uchiha. That Uchiha had been ambushed by his teammates and severely injured without even putting up resistance.
