"Big Brother, just tell us what it'll take for you to let us go!" Feng Hetang was utterly miserable. He knew the bastard had him by the throat and might well make his life hell.
Han Shan and the others were furious too. They regretted it so much their guts were turning green. If they'd known this bastard was so vicious, they never would've picked a fight with him. But now it was too late.
The bastard knew they couldn't just quit the tournament whenever they wanted. There was no way he'd pass up the chance to torment them.
"Let you go? That's a terrible way to put it. Do I look like some kind of villain? Everyone knows I, Xia Ping, am the kindest person around. I'd never force anyone to do anything, and I'm always happy to help." Xia Ping put on a righteous expression.

Feng Hetang was so angry his teeth ached. Everyone knew this bastard was vicious and took pleasure in tormenting people. He'd just broken Feng Hetang's arms more times than he could count.
He'd even been beaten unconscious, only to be roused and put through it all over again. Anyone who called this brute kind would have to fight him on the spot.
But how could he say any of that out loud? He bowed and scraped, wearing a fawning smile. "Yes, yes, Big Brother is the kindest person around. It's getting late, so why don't you let us go?"
"The tournament is important, after all. If we arrive too late, the others will have snatched up all the tokens."
He couldn't wait to get away from this demon.
Xia Ping waved a hand. "No need to rush. We've got three days. Plenty of time. We'll take it slow."
Take it
