At that thought, Xia Ping immediately picked up his phone and called Director Wang Dachui.
As soon as the call connected, he said, "Wang Dachui, tell me what's going on. Did you put out those stories online?"
"Boss, that's right. I was the one who did it." Wang Dachui sounded smug. "I got in touch with a few online news outlets and submitted a couple of articles. I didn't expect them to put them right on their homepages. The results have been great. Once our video goes live, it's bound to blow up, and the views will shoot through the roof."

Xia Ping's mouth twitched. The publicity was certainly working, but it had also put him in a bit of a bind. If his identity as the author got out, who knew how much trouble it would bring him?
Just then, the system suddenly chimed in: "Congratulations, Host. You have gained 5,000 Hate Points."

At that, a glint flashed in Xia Ping's eyes. News like this had actually earned him more Hate Points. If so, there was no harm in letting the stories keep spreading. His reputation wasn't exactly good to begin with.
