At Black Moon City Airport, aboard a spaceship.
With a sharp clink, the crystal wineglass slipped from Gu Peng's hand and shattered on the floor. He didn't even notice as wine spilled everywhere.
"No way. Is this a joke? He really passed the Nightmare-level Trial and even set a record?!" Gu Peng gaped, rubbing his eyes as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Simply passing the Nightmare-level Trial was a huge deal. Setting a record was even more astonishing.
Anyone capable of such a feat would become a world-shaking powerhouse in the future, with strength far beyond the King Realm. They would be a true giant standing at the pinnacle of countless martial artists.
And Xia Ping might very well have that kind of talent!
"This is incredible. Master really has taken on an extraordinary genius this time," Gu Peng said with a sigh. He had thought it was already impressive that the kid passed the Difficulty-level Trial.
But he hadn't expected Xia Ping to pass the Nightmare-level Trial, let alone set a record. This was completely beyond his imagination.
It was entirely possible that Xia Ping's future accomplishments in martial arts would surpass his own.
"Still, setting a record and receiving a treasure from the Black Moon Tower may not be a blessing. I'm afraid it'll make plenty of people greedy." Gu Peng's eyes flickered as he sat in his chair.
He wished he could bring Xia Ping back immediately and have him finish the trial.
But according to Giant Corporation's rules, passing the Black Moon Tower's Difficulty-level Trial wasn't enough. Xia Ping had to return safely to the airport before the trial was truly over.
If he got himself into trouble along the way, Gu Peng couldn't interfere. He could only watch.
