"Hm? Why has no one come to attack me?"
As Xia Ping walked down the street, he realized that more than ten minutes had passed and hardly anyone had attacked him. The streets were eerily quiet.
Even when people passed by and saw what he looked like, they turned deathly pale and fled as fast as they could, as if they wished their parents had given them a few more legs.
The contestants had probably seen him defeat Li Hu and the Huang Family disciples with barely a flick of his hand, and now they were wary of him. They didn't dare fight him; some were even worried they might become his next target.
Showing too much strength could make plenty of people afraid.
"This won't do. If this keeps up, how am I supposed to hone my martial arts? I have to force them out." Xia Ping clenched his fists. If these people weren't going to come after him, then he would go after them.
If the mountain wouldn't come to him, he would go to the mountain.
Xia Ping circulated the vital energy within him and reached out with both hands. His true essence surged forth, and tongues of flame gathered together, quickly condensing into a fireball.
The fireball was enormous, about the size of a watermelon. Strands of flame slowly swirled inside it like a miniature sun, radiating scorching heat.
"Go!"
With one hand, Xia Ping hurled the fireball at a nearby skyscraper. It exploded on impact, blasting an entire floor to rubble.
With its foundations destroyed, the building immediately began to collapse. Huge chunks of stone tumbled from above, and before long the entire skyscraper came crashing down.
But that was only the beginning.
