"That's not how you imagine it. You'd better leave as soon as possible. Don't stay here."
The Doom Crow spoke with great firmness, demanding that the Three-Eyed Giant and the other demons leave.
"Leave my ass!"
The Black Water Explosive Bear had an extremely explosive temper. It immediately roared, "Doom Crow, tell us honestly—have you become that human's watchdog? Are you guarding his home for him here?!"
The Three-Eyed Giant and the other demons all glared at the Doom Crow with Killing Intent boiling off them. This was an exceedingly serious matter. If it were in the human world, it would be like the descendant of a King surrendering to the demon race, becoming its lackey and a traitor to humankind—a betrayal of the worst kind.
"This matter is none of your business."
The Doom Crow's attitude remained firm. It would not speak even if beaten to death.
"Three-Eyed Giant, there's something seriously wrong with your attitude. You're a demon traitor, and you think you're in the right? You think being a human's lackey is something glorious?" the Three-Eyed Giant said in a strange, mocking tone.
"Three-Eyed Giant, say one more damn word, and I'll take your life." The Doom Crow exploded. It could not stand the sight of those three eyes for even half a second longer.
"Tell us, then. What benefit did that human give you that you're protecting him at every turn?" The Earth-Splitting Porcupine stared at the Doom Crow, unable to make heads or tails of it.
The Doom Crow was, after all, a King race, with a lofty status in Ten Thousand Demon Mountain. How could it have been bought off by some insignificant human? How could it even willingly become that person's battle servant? The Earth-Splitting Porcupine racked its brains but could not understand
