An angel's body trembled when he heard this. "Captain, could this be the Angel race's renowned offensive formation? Once such a grand array is activated, it immediately gathers Angel Holy Light and unleashes the power of purification."
"When the array begins operating, every living being within it, regardless of race, will be thoroughly purified and destroyed, reduced to ashes. This is a supreme killing formation, utterly exclusionary."
Hearing this, many angels were shocked as well. This was an extremely famous offensive formation of the Angel race, purifying all things and destroying living beings—a world-ending formation.
Sometimes, when they believed the life forms on a living planet were too evil and beyond saving, they would activate such a formation to carry out extermination, slaughtering every living creature on the planet.
"That's right. Looks like you usually work hard at your studies too."
The angel captain nodded. "With this grand array in hand, those people will be turtles trapped in a jar, with nowhere to escape. Once the array is activated, every one of those humans will die."
"But Captain, if we do that, won't the living beings on Borderhead Planet be unable to escape death as well? They'll all be wiped out?"
An angel was worried about this.
"So what if they're wiped out? They're merely lowly humans, an inferior race. It doesn't matter how many die. A sinful planet like Borderhead Planet ought to be destroyed, and every human living on it is steeped in sin. If they are not purified, heaven itself cannot tolerate it," the angel captain said. "In fact, we are not killing them. We are redeeming these sinners, sending them to heaven to ascend into supreme bliss."
He claimed that this was a redemption, a purification—not slaughter.
