"Is this the Worm Nest?!"
A few breaths later, Xia Ping passed through the spatial passage and entered the Worm Nest.
At once, he found himself in a dark vacuum, like the starry sky, with countless enormous planets appearing all around him.
Fortunately, he had already advanced to the Return to Truth Realm and condensed his Primordial Spirit, allowing him to survive in a vacuum. Otherwise, the moment he entered the Worm Nest, he would likely have suffocated to death.
"No living beings?"
Yet when Xia Ping swept the area with his divine sense, he discovered that these planets showed no trace of habitation by any living creatures. They were utterly primitive, uninhabited planets. There were not even any plants upon them—just bare, barren wastelands without a shred of life.
The problem was that this was the Worm Nest, practically the Black Hole Worms' headquarters. There should have been countless Black Hole Worms here, so why did it look like such a desolate wasteland?
If that was the case, where exactly did the Black Hole Worms live?!
The Emerald Lord seemed to see through Xia Ping's doubts and said, "Brother Wu, Black Hole Worms do not live on these planets. They live within unique dimensional black holes—nests exclusive to their kind.
"As for why these planets have appeared here, I suppose that while the Black Hole Worms were devouring spatial energy and opening wormholes everywhere, they inadvertently dragged planets from the universe into the Worm Nest."
"Dimensional black holes? As you say, can we find the places where Black Hole Worms live?"
Xia Ping asked.
"Of course. Do you see ahead? There happens to be a Worm Nest passage there, perhaps a nest excavated by a Black Hole Worm for its own residence." The Emerald Lord pointed into the vacuum
