Near the tribulation clouds, a fifteen-meter-tall demon with the head of a shark and the body of a man appeared. The instant it emerged, the void warped and heaven and earth trembled, giving rise to strange phenomena. Behind it, a dark ocean seemed to materialize.
In the depths of that ocean, ferocious demonic sharks seemed to be devouring the corpses of enemy Corpse Beasts, the air thick with the stench of blood.
This was the Sea Shark Demon, an immortal-level lord—the Sea Shark Lord.
Its eyes flickered as it stared fixedly at the massive tribulation cloud in midair, clearly deeply wary of it.
"Sea Shark Lord, I didn't expect you to come as well. You want to wade into these muddy waters too?"
At that moment, a towering Rock Giant tore through the void and arrived in an instant. A powerful aura radiated from its body, as if it could shake heaven and earth, its frame containing unrivaled strength.
It was the Rock Lord.
"Rock Lord?!"
The Sea Shark Lord narrowed its eyes, staring at the Rock Giant before it. It had thought itself the fastest, but it had not expected the Rock Lord to be so swift either, following close behind.
It had originally wanted to be the first to arrive and seize the strange treasure. Now, it seemed that plan had fallen through.
"Haha, Rock Lord, a strange treasure is about to be born here. Who would miss such an opportunity? If you can come, then naturally the Sea Shark Lord can come too. Don't tell me you think Flame Hell is your territory?"
Boom! Another enormous spatial passage appeared nearby, and a creature entirely black, like a mass of mud, flew out of the wormhole.
