Half an hour later.
Fate Dragon Betty and the other young dragons sprinted all the way, running for their lives, and finally escaped the forest.
"Phew."
Fate Dragon Betty let out a sigh of relief. "That forest was far too dangerous. Good thing we ran fast, or those strange trees might have eaten us. This world is terrifying—trees can actually walk, and they even have mouths, noses, and eyes. They have so many arms and legs it could scare a dragon to death."
"Mm-hmm."
The other young dragons could not help nodding in agreement. Luckily, they had been clever enough to make a prompt decision, or the strange trees in the forest might have eaten them.
"Wait, there are strange creatures over there too."
Suddenly, Slowing Dragon Wells pointed at a plain ahead, where a group of bizarre creatures had appeared.
"They really are strange. Why don't any of them have dragon horns?"
"Look, their wings are strange too—they actually have feathers."
"They look pretty weak."
"My heavens, some of them don't even have hair. They're bald."
Fate Dragon Betty and the other young dragons all widened their eyes, staring at the sight before them in disbelief.
Before them stood a large number of young maidens: Rabbit-Ear Race girls, Angel Race girls, Winged Clan girls, Mermaid Race girls, Fairy Race girls, Angel Race girls, Cat-Ear Race girls, Rabbit-Ear Race girls, Snake Race girls, Arhat Race girls, Asura Race girls, Vampire Race girls, and more.
Nearly every race in the universe seemed to have appeared here.
Yet none of these races existed in the Dragon World. To these young dragons, they were utterly unheard of and unseen—there had not even been the faintest rumor of them.
The sight left the young dragons dumbstruck, opening their eyes to a whole new world.
