"Perhaps it isn't a conspiracy. Perhaps all of this is The Lord's arrangement. Beneath The Lord's radiance, there will be no obstacle on the road ahead for us." An invincible Saint of the Angel Race beside them spoke.
Twelve pairs of wings grew from its body, and a halo of wisdom shone above its head. Holy light blossomed from its body, as though a sacred domain had formed around it.
A devout expression appeared on its face, its will incomparably steadfast. Feather after feather of angel wings drifted down, seeming to thoroughly purify even the soil of the abyssal earth.
Wherever this sacred domain reached, all sin was cleansed away and vanished.
"No, no, all of this is karma. From effect to cause, from cause to effect—it was all destined. Thus have I heard; so it is with the Tathagata." A Buddha beside them held a lotus flower between his fingers, a compassionate smile upon his face.
It seemed that beneath his Buddha Light Illuminates All, every living being would take refuge in the Buddhist Sect, yearn for compassion, and enter the Land of Ultimate Bliss.
"Hmph!"
The invincible Saint of the Angel Race snorted coldly, murderous intent surging. If there was anyone in the entire universe the Angel Race hated most, it was undoubtedly these Buddhas of the Buddhist Sect.
Because of their struggle over domains and faith, they were locked in a fight to the death. All heretics would be slain.
"Benefactor, your killing intent is too heavy. Why not take refuge in my Buddhist Sect? Only then can your heart enjoy eternal peace. Lay down the butcher's knife and become a Buddha on the spot." The Buddha smiled faintly, patiently guiding him, apparently still trying to make this angel convert to the Buddhist Sect.
"You're courting death."
