Just then, Xia Ping's heart stirred. He sensed a telepathic message from Little Gold. Even separated by the distance of an entire universe, such a message could still be heard with perfect clarity.
Little Gold rarely used telepathy under normal circumstances, yet she had unexpectedly used it now.
"Master."
Little Gold spoke.
"What is it? Did something happen?"
Xia Ping asked.
"Recently, we went to Gaia Paradise and were received by the Gaias. But there seems to be a major problem with them. I sensed deep malice buried in their hearts."
Little Gold said.
"What's going on?"
Xia Ping narrowed his eyes. He knew that after Little Gold had devoured numerous divine artifact fragments, she had acquired all kinds of abilities, among them the power to read hearts and sense good and evil.
Since even Little Gold said so, then it had to be true.
"I'm not sure. In any case, there's something very wrong with these Gaias. Perhaps they aren't real Gaias at all. Sister Xiao Dai seems to have been taken away by them. They said they were going to hold some sort of coming-of-age ceremony. The Gaia sisters from before were taken away with her as well. It seems we've been placed under temporary house arrest. They said we can only leave once the ceremony is over."
Little Gold poured out everything that had happened during this time in one breath.
"A coming-of-age ceremony?!"
At that moment, Xia Ping recalled what Tania had said before. Could these Gaias truly be problematic? If they were, then what exactly were they plotting?
"When does this coming-of-age ceremony begin?"
