Ruin 88.

It was a huge island located deep in the Endless Sea.

The island was enormous, covered in lush trees as far as the eye could see, like a primeval forest. Powerful monsters roamed everywhere, and the air was thick with the aura of a primordial age.

However, because of Ruin 88, the island had long since been occupied by human forces. They had built a harbor and a small city there.

The spacecraft carrying Xia Ping and the others soon reached the island and landed in front of a base. Everyone filed out.

"Welcome, everyone."

The man who came out to greet Xia Ping and the others was a black-clad, middle-aged man with a huge blade strapped to his back. He radiated a wild, imposing aura, like a black bear.

He introduced himself. "I'm Ling Guoliang, the person in charge of Ruin 88. Congratulations on coming here to take part in the trial. We've been preparing for your arrival for a long time. Follow me inside."
