Ch. 1981The Times Lack Heroes

Xia Ping defeated more than a hundred Primordial Sacred Land disciples with a single glance, leaving the spectators stunned and furious. Saints watching unseen above the arena recognized his nearly perfect illusion arts and wondered whether his immense potential could carry him to the Saint realm.

  • Xia Ping caused over a hundred Primordial Sacred Land disciples to collapse unconscious, while the spectators could not tell what had happened.
  • Xia Ping mocked the disciples and lectured them for being weak, angering the spectators.
  • Wei Liangsheng and the others watched in shock as they realized Xia Ping’s power far exceeded their expectations.
  • Seven or eight hidden Saints discussed Xia Ping’s powerful divine sense and near-perfect illusions, concluding that he had already won.
  • The Saints said Xia Ping’s profound reserves would make reaching the Saint realm exceptionally difficult, but that he could become an extraordinary Saint if he transcended.

Ch. 1982Pouring Oil on the Fire

Xia Ping defeated every Primordial Sacred Land disciple who challenged him, earning admiration and five hundred thousand points. He mocked the Central Universe geniuses and kept provoking the crowd, but no one dared face him.

  • Wei Liangsheng and the spectators praised Xia Ping’s strength and admitted that his illusion arts were difficult to counter.
  • The crowd realized Xia Ping had defeated ten thousand challengers and earned five hundred thousand points, shocking and enraging many onlookers.
  • Xia Ping insulted the Central Universe geniuses as pill-dependent pigs and invited anyone who disagreed to challenge him.
  • A furious spectator tried to fight Xia Ping, but his companion warned him that doing so would only hand Xia Ping more points.
  • Xia Ping continued taunting the crowd, but none of the spectators dared step onto the duel arena.

Ch. 1983Brain Sealing Technique

After Xia Ping defeated a hundred outer sect disciples and won five hundred thousand points, news of his illusion mastery spread through the Primordial Sacred Land. He provoked the inner sect disciples, who decided to ignore him, but one disciple accepted his challenge and lost.

  • Xia Ping left the dueling platform after earning five hundred thousand points, while the other disciples accused him of trying to lure more people into losing their points.
  • A day later, recordings of Xia Ping’s battle spread through the Primordial Sacred Land, and inner sect disciples recognized him as an illusion grandmaster.
  • Xia Ping went to the inner sect territory and challenged the disciples, calling anyone who refused a dog and a sick man of the Central Universe.
  • The inner sect disciples chose to ignore Xia Ping because they saw little to gain from defeating him and risked humiliation if they lost.
  • An inner sect disciple impulsively accepted Xia Ping’s challenge, lost, and had “sick man of the Central Universe” carved onto his forehead.

Ch. 1984I'm Still a Child

Xia Ping humiliated the inner disciples with illusions so powerful that even their Brain Sealing Technique could not protect them, and he continued challenging the sect until a Saint elder appeared. When the elder offered to fight, Xia Ping called himself a child, leaving the disciples fuming.

  • Inner disciples learned that Xia Ping had defeated Lightning Tribulation Realm opponents with a glance and resolved to counter his illusions.
  • A chief inner disciple sent for experts trained in the Brain Sealing Technique, but Xia Ping's illusions overcame them and left them severely humiliated.
  • Xia Ping kept challenging the inner sect, gained another five hundred thousand points, and drove the disciples to avoid him.
  • A green-robed Saint elder appeared and offered to fight Xia Ping.
  • Xia Ping protested that he was still a child, and the inner disciples cursed his shamelessness.

Ch. 1985The Catfish Effect

Xia Ping stopped provoking the inner disciples after an elder ordered him to leave them alone. The elders decided his troublemaking had energized the disciples, while Xia Ping returned home with a million points and gained more Hate Crystals.

  • An inner disciple complained to the old man in green about Xia Ping blocking disciples' doors and provoking them, while Xia Ping insisted he had only been asking for martial arts guidance.
  • The old man in green told Xia Ping to stop fooling around, and Xia Ping agreed to return to Green Jade City.
  • The elders discussed how Xia Ping had spurred the disciples to train harder, though the old man in green warned that the pressure had to remain balanced.
  • The elders noted that Xia Ping had earned one million points, far more than they had managed as disciples.
  • The system awarded Xia Ping twenty Hate Crystals, bringing his total to five hundred and eighty.

Ch. 1986Treasures Galore

Xia Ping explored the Primordial Sacred Land’s treasure exchange and was astonished by its vast supply of rare spirit medicines and secret arts. Cat Immortal urged him to buy an immortal-level plant lifeform to strengthen the Star Ship.

  • Xia Ping opened the treasure exchange and found that his points could buy only a limited number of sacred medicines.
  • Green Ox marveled at the abundance of spirit medicines that had once been impossible to find, while Xia Ping browsed the listings.
  • Cat Immortal saw secret arts that Myriad Stars Saint had once struggled to obtain and recalled the hardships of rogue cultivators.
  • Xia Ping wondered how to spend his million points as Cat Immortal urged him to buy an immortal-level plant lifeform for the Star Ship.

Ch. 1987Thousand-Star Vine

Xia Ping exchanged seven hundred thousand points for an immortal-grade Thousand-Star Vine corpse after Cat Immortal explained how it could strengthen the Star Ship. When the corpse arrived at his villa, Cat Immortal and Green Ox realized it had been killed intact by a being far beyond the Immortal level.

  • Cat Immortal explained that the Thousand-Star Vine could give the Star Ship powerful defenses and attacks, and Xia Ping agreed to exchange for its corpse.
  • Xia Ping redeemed the Thousand-Star Vine for seven hundred thousand points and disabled the villa's defenses so it could be delivered through a spatial wormhole.
  • The Thousand-Star Vine corpse appeared in Xia Ping's villa, and he saw its more than a thousand azure vines and powerful immortal aura.
  • Cat Immortal explained that the vines could extend hundreds of thousands of kilometers, while Green Ox noticed the corpse had no wounds.
  • Cat Immortal concluded that a Saint far beyond the Immortal level had likely killed the Thousand-Star Vine with a single blow.

Ch. 1988Fusion

Xia Ping fused the Thousand-Star Vine remains with the Star Ship, and the World Tree gave the vine a new life and consciousness. The revived plant lifeform transformed the vessel and began exchanging energy with the World Tree, increasing Xia Ping’s mana.

  • Cat Immortal engraved restriction formations on the Thousand-Star Vine and brought out the Star Ship, causing the vine to fuse with the vessel.
  • Cat Immortal explained that the fusion turned the Star Ship into a plant-life spaceship and raised its power by one grade, though the vine had been dead.
  • The World Tree emerged from Xia Ping’s sea of consciousness and poured its source energy into the Thousand-Star Vine.
  • The Thousand-Star Vine developed new life and consciousness, absorbing the Star Ship’s materials and achieving a deeper fusion with the vessel.

  • Xia Ping finished several days of secluded cultivation, grew twenty percent stronger, and reached the peak of the Dharma Image Realm.
  • Xia Ping asked Green Ox what awaited him in the Lightning Tribulation Realm while Cat Immortal continued merging the Star Ship with the Thousand-Star Vine.
  • Green Ox explained that Lightning Tribulation Realm cultivators faced tribulations as they crossed the Sea of Bitterness, also known as the River of Fate or Underworld River.
  • Green Ox warned that crossing depended on the Primordial Spirit and that an excessively powerful Primordial Spirit could make the Sea of Bitterness harder to traverse.
  • Xia Ping learned that reaching the other shore transformed a cultivator into an immortal-level Saint with a true spirit and an immortal body.

Ch. 1990World Origin

Xia Ping learned that Xiao Dai had awakened at the peak of the Lightning Tribulation Realm but needed more world origin energy to advance. Wei Liangsheng then invited Xia Ping to join a dangerous mission to fight other races for a newly born small world.

  • Xia Ping found Xiao Dai awake and learned she was only a step away from the Saint Realm.
  • Cat Immortal explained that Xiao Dai lacked world origin energy and could obtain it from newly born small worlds.
  • Cat Immortal said the Gaia race did not face lightning tribulations when advancing because they were recognized by the universe's origin.
  • Wei Liangsheng called Xia Ping and offered him a mission to help humans fight other races for control of a newly born small world.

Ch. 1991Fighting for the World

Xia Ping accepted Wei Liangsheng’s invitation to join a mission to claim a newly born world, hoping to investigate its world origin. At the gathering in Green Jade City, a Primordial Sacred Land disciple objected to the Eastern Universe newcomers joining the dangerous mission, then grew angrier when he noticed Xia Ping was only in the Dharma Image Realm.

  • Wei Liangsheng explained that Saints could not intervene in Ordinary District contests and that the first race to fuse a world’s origin with its token claimed the world.
  • Xia Ping agreed to join Wei Liangsheng’s team, and Wei Liangsheng told him to meet at Green Jade City’s square in an hour.
  • Xia Ping arrived at the square and saw Wei Liangsheng and the other Eastern Universe geniuses, who had advanced to the Lightning Tribulation Realm.
  • Thirteen teams of Primordial Sacred Land disciples arrived, and a brawny man in a red vest complained that the newcomers would hold them back.
  • The brawny man noticed Xia Ping’s Dharma Image Realm cultivation and accused him of being deadweight who had used a back door to join the mission.

Ch. 1992Rock

Xia Ping intimidated a fellow disciple who objected to his joining a mission, but a white-robed elder stopped their confrontation and sent the group to seize a newly born world. The Rock spacecraft departed for the destination, with an estimated arrival time of three days.

  • A companion warned the red-vested man not to provoke Xia Ping and revealed who he was.
  • The red-vested man remained skeptical until Xia Ping grabbed his shoulder and overwhelmed him with a terrifying aura.
  • A white-robed elder ordered Xia Ping to stop and directed everyone to board the Rock spacecraft for the mission.
  • The Rock spacecraft carried Xia Ping and the others into a spatial passage toward the contested world.

Ch. 1993Two Paths Diverged

The Rock reached Durian World, where Zuo Yangdong briefed the Primordial Sacred Land disciples on a mission to claim the newly discovered realm and proposed splitting their forces. Xia Ping challenged his cautious approach, but agreed outwardly as the spacecraft entered the world.

  • Zuo Yangdong explained that human forces and other races were deadlocked over resource-rich Durian World, and warned that enemy reinforcements might be lying in wait.
  • Zuo Yangdong proposed choosing a temporary leader and dividing the disciples into an open force and a hidden force; Wei Liangsheng and the others approved.
  • Xia Ping objected to the plan and urged the group to charge through their enemies, while Zuo Yangdong and other disciples warned him about the Central Universe’s dangers.
  • Wei Liangsheng supported Zuo Yangdong, and Xia Ping agreed outwardly while privately favoring a swift assault to obtain the world origin.
  • The Rock arrived at Durian World and plunged into it.

Ch. 1994The Sun of the World

Xia Ping and the Primordial Sacred Land disciples arrived at Durian World to claim its world source before the Demon Race could seize it. They reached the source, learned it sustained the whole world, and faced the arriving Demon Race forces.

  • Ma Yuan welcomed Xia Ping and the other disciples, reporting that neither side had claimed the world source and that Demon Race reinforcements were expected.
  • Zuo Yangdong ordered the group to move out while Ma Yuan and the adventurers stayed behind to watch for a sneak attack.
  • The disciples split into an advancing group and a concealed group, with Xia Ping placed among those advancing openly.

  • The Snake Race Demon Kings’ swords shattered against Xia Ping’s protective aura, leaving them stunned and unable to harm him.
  • Xia Ping formed the Sun Furnace, causing flames to ignite inside the Snake Race Demon Kings and burn them to ash.

Ch. 1998Rampage!

  • The surviving Demon Kings panicked, and one shouted at the Night Demons to attack.

Ch. 1999Night Demon Race

The Night Demon Race joined the Demon Kings’ assault on Xia Ping and blanketed the region in black mist, giving the Demon Kings a chance to refine Durian World’s origin. Xia Ping defeated the Night Demon experts with an illusion technique, leaving the Demon Kings’ plan stalled and their reinforcements unconscious.

  • The Night Demon Race covered the region in black mist and trapped Zuo Yangdong and the other humans.
  • The surviving Demon Kings decided to refine Durian World’s origin while the Night Demon Race held Xia Ping back.

  • The Demon Kings cursed the defeated Night Demon Race reinforcements as they lay sleeping on the ground.

Ch. 2000Resolution

  • Zuo Yangdong and the others watched in shock as Xia Ping ended the battle without anyone else needing to fight.
  • Ma Yuan and the adventurers praised Xia Ping and assumed Zuo Yangdong and the other Primordial Sacred Land disciples were similarly powerful, while the disciples felt embarrassed by the misunderstanding.
  • An adventurer asked how Zuo Yangdong compared with Xia Ping, and Ma Yuan rebuked him before apologizing on his behalf.
  • Xia Ping dragged the captured Demon Kings over and asked Zuo Yangdong how they should deal with them.
