Though the open fighting had ended for now, an even greater storm was gathering beneath the surface of that calm. No one knew when the next major rebellion would erupt.

The force sent to put down the rebellion was merely a microcosm of the damage it had caused. Internal strife broke out halfway there. The warlord did not even know how it had begun.
