After spending only three days with his father, Clarks followed Allison to the plane where the sealed item was kept.
Interestingly, they teleported there directly! That was truly astonishing. As everyone knew, Abyssal demons had to rely on sacrifices to break through the barriers of space in order to reach the material planes. The material planes' repulsive force was especially strong; unless special circumstances caused their barriers to vanish, demons had very few ways of reaching them, and sacrifice was the only stable and viable method. (Being summoned by spells was another option, but that method had a time limit.)
But this Allison—no, it should have been Cynthia—swapped control of the body with Allison at the instant of teleportation. As a single entity, every demonic trait on Lilith's body vanished in an instant. Her platinum-blonde hair, fair and delicate skin, and the holy light overflowing from her entire body— even the Abyssal aura inherent to demons disappeared, replaced by a powerful aura of goodness. That dazzling aura of goodness could even rival the angels of the upper planes.
That was highly abnormal!
Such utterly different souls could actually coexist perfectly and peacefully within one body, even switching seamlessly whenever necessary. It was practically the stuff of myths—and myths from a fantasy world at that. Not only was it unscientific, it was almost unmagical!
More importantly, this woman could actually ignore planar barriers! That was even more terrifying! Even angels from the upper planes could not achieve such a feat. (The angels here referred to all celestial beings of the upper planes and divine envoys from other realms.)
The material planes' rejection did not target only fiends from the lower planes; it applied equally to residents of the upper planes. Relatively speaking, however, the material planes were somewhat more tolerant of
