As the power bestowed by Mortarion flooded into his body, Buleben passed his trial, even though his internal organs had been hollowed out and replaced by rows of gourd-like, writhing fat pupae. As the insect pupae matured and split apart, newly hatched plague flies crawled out of Buleben's mouth one after another, following behind their master with childlike gratitude.
As the transformation progressed, Buleben also felt an unprecedented pleasure. He experienced happiness, excitement, and the joy of being alive! These were emotions Buleben had never felt before. He was immensely grateful to Mortarion for granting him all this, and at the same time, he greatly enjoyed the sensation of those "adorable" little things hatching inside his body.
Thus, he became Mortarion's fanatic. He became Buleben the Rotting Incubator, also known as the Lord of Flies, a demon filled inside with writhing maggots!
With the appearance of Buleben the Rotting Incubator, the plague flies surged even more fiercely. Under their cover, countless plague warriors began invading the devils' ranks. Every one of these demons was grotesquely misshapen. Most were bloated all over and covered in extensive ulceration, their bodies riddled with rotting cysts and splattering pus. Chunks of thoroughly decayed flesh or internal organs occasionally fell to the ground, while countless flies swarmed around them and dark green vapor constantly seeped from their bodies. Yet in stark contrast to this horrifying sight, these demons all wore innocent, childlike smiles.
These plague warriors grinned as they plunged weapons coated in deadly poison and pestilence into the devils' bodies. No matter how small the wound, those devils would immediately contract several diseases and plagues, which would then spread to others along with the splashing blood. The sight was almost absurd, the contrast far too great, yet on this endlessly slaughtering battlefield, the bizarre
