"!@￥@#%#￥...%￥%...%......*I call your name—Yasas!" After a strange, tongue-twisting magical incantation, a female cultist who appeared to be the leader stepped directly into the magic circle. Staring at the flames in the bronze basin as though they were a gateway to the Abyss, she began softly calling a name—Graz'zt's servant, his general, a lesser demon lord—Yasas!

Generally speaking, summoning demons did not need to be this troublesome. But for certain powerful demons, one first needed to know their names. They were simply too powerful; ordinary summoning methods could not possibly transport them to the material plane. That was a rule of the planes, and Toril was not particularly friendly toward outsiders.

Of course, this was unlikely to be a true name. Rather, it was a false name formed through repeated disguises and alterations. Once a summoner spoke this name during a ritual, the demon in the Abyss would sense it. Once the coordinates of the material plane had been confirmed, it could appear before the summoner through planar travel.

Yasas, a chaotic evil male half-fiend Drow warrior, was Graz'zt's servant, general, and son. Well, the descendants of the Dark Prince, famed as a demonic stud, were scattered throughout the multiverse. There were so many of them that even the Dark Prince himself did not know all their circumstances or locations. Yasas was one of the sons he paid relatively close attention to.

His current position was commander of Graz'zt's army, and he had played a crucial role in Graz'zt's defeat of Adimarchus.
