The arc ended with Nie Lanxin dying after confessing she had taken Little Hong and Little Ling'er and harmed Yu Ningsheng to make Ning Xiaochuan beg her.

• Ning Xiaochuan helped Zi Hanyan break through to the Heaven-Man Realm and attended the Bright Holy Maiden’s Dao Discussion Assembly, where the Ten Thousand Sound Fairy Queen exposed Dongfang Sheng’s accusations against Nie Lanxin as false.
• Ning Xiaochuan entered Hundred Herbs Garden as Master Mu Lan’s disciple, tied with Lin Yueji in an alchemy contest, and refined seven Origin Returning Pills before being named a Core Disciple and Spirit Child.

After reaching the High Heaven Realm, he entered a ruined tower with Hua Qinglian and Monk Tan Qian, where they faced the Saint Fish King and a mysterious Headless Monk as Azure Queen arrived.

• Ning Xiaochuan made Huanhua Princess his Heart Slave, escaped his pursuers, and traveled toward Heaven-Cleaving Desolate Ridge as a giant creature crossed the storm clouds.
• Ning Xiaochuan joined Hua Qinglian in rescuing human captives from the Mystic Beast army and learned that the Saint Fish King was gathering sacrifices for the Fanhou Demon Emperor.
