Swish—

The swift blade sliced a gap through the black light. His eyes turned, and he saw a thick, veined arm spinning through the air.

Not a lump of flesh.

Planting his front foot and twisting at the waist, Yuki turned to slash back, only to see a slender figure appear out of thin air in the corridor. The flash of a blade made him immediately retract his sword and step away.

After several leaps, Yuki retreated to the middle of the corridor where blood rained down. He dropped to one knee and raised his head, a creature beyond description appearing in his red eyes.

Its body was pitch-black. Its upper half was somewhat humanoid, and its left arm and shoulder had been severed, blackish-red blood gushing from the wound. But below its hips was an entirely different sight.

It had a tail made of human torsos, covered in densely packed arms. Like a centipede's legs, they supported its upright body, and every hand held a gleaming Scalpel.

As Yuki observed it, it raised its disproportionately long right arm, fumbled around behind its neck, then quickly pulled upward.

Crack.

With a crisp snap of bone, a head was hoisted into place. It had a pointed mouth and monkey-like cheeks, bulging eyes, and an enormous mouth.

Yuki found that face very familiar, because they had been exploring the Dungeon together just a few hours ago.

The craftsman who had left the group midway!

Chapter 11: Khorne? No, Tzeentch!

A head-swapping game?

When Yuki saw that head amid the bloody rain, he was clearly stunned. He had personally watched the demon twist the craftsman's head off, yet he had never expected to see it here.

Whoosh—

He exhaled a stale breath. The fire door behind him was being slapped with loud bangs.
