Background / History

Nebula Kotetsu publicly confesses to Rin at the Ninja Academy, asking her to become his hundredth girlfriend. The unexpected confession leaves her unable to speak and visibly flustered, while Obito Uchiha reacts with immediate fury. 1

Afterward, Nebula visits the Nohara home to apologize for making the confession public and asks Rin to pass a high-quality kunai to Obito as an apology.
