Ch. 261Knowledge Is Power.jpg.

Iori uncovered that his convenient journey through Mooncell had followed game-like rules and that BB had used them to bring him to Ritsuka Fujimaru. BB armed him with the Seven Hills Manifestation, and Iori battled Ritsuka before Enkidu appeared to bind her, leaving the fight unresolved.

  • Iori argued that his journey through Mooncell had been arranged like a game, and Ritsuka realized something had guided him to the final floor.
  • BB revealed herself through a doll on the slot machine and explained that she had used the game's rules to help Iori reach Ritsuka.
  • BB gave Iori her remaining data, summoning crimson armor with the Simple Mythological Phantasm: Seven Hills Manifestation.
  • Iori used his new power to withstand Ritsuka's attacks and unleash Yamata-Dotō against a tide of monsters.
  • Ritsuka trapped Iori with tentacles and pierced his heart, but Enkidu emerged behind her and bound her with golden chains.

Ch. 262The Power of Trimurti & Mistilteinn!

Iori fought Angra Mainyu, who possessed Ritsuka Fujimaru and reflected his attacks, but he used Rider’s Star Pioneer skill to land a surprise strike. The chapter then shifted to Angra Mainyu’s memories of watching Ritsuka struggle through repeated failures, ending with the evil god feeling pity for her.

  • Iori’s Rule Breaker failed to sever Angra Mainyu’s connection to Ritsuka, and Angra Mainyu escaped his restraints and explained her nature.
  • Iori identified his opponent as Angra Mainyu, who unleashed countless demons and used Avesta to reflect the Holy Sword of the Stars’ damage onto him.
  • Iori survived the reflected damage and used Rider’s Star Pioneer skill to make an unexpected attack, but Angra Mainyu knocked him away with Avesta.
  • Angra Mainyu recalled observing humanity’s changing ideas of good and evil and watching Ritsuka endure repeated failures while trying to save her world.
  • Angra Mainyu began to pity Ritsuka despite viewing her as a pathetic and ugly human being.

Ch. 263The Power of Trimurti & Mistilteinn! (cont.)

Angra Mainyu tried to erase Chaldea from Ritsuka Fujimaru’s life and create a peaceful world for her, but Iori fought back against his nearly invincible Avesta. With Fou and BB’s help, Iori struck Angra Mainyu with Mistilteinn, and the wounded Avenger realized Ritsuka had allowed the events to unfold so Iori could end them.

  • Angra Mainyu explained that he planned to reset Ritsuka’s life by erasing Chaldea and her memories, then attacked Iori with Avesta’s returning blades.
  • BB explained Avesta’s power to record its targets and return their attacks, while Angra Mainyu summoned a three-headed Magic Dragon to destroy Iori.
  • Fou appeared to block the dragon’s flames, and BB gave Iori Archer’s Shiva’s Bow and a card that helped him launch Vishnu’s Blade at Angra Mainyu.
  • Ritsuka briefly interfered as Angra Mainyu tried to open Avesta, allowing Iori to fire Mistilteinn into the Avenger’s chest.
  • Angra Mainyu’s wound did not heal, and she concluded that Ritsuka had foreseen the attack and summoned Iori to end it.

Ch. 264Merlin Must Die!

Iori defeated the Avenger and watched the collapsing labyrinth trigger a Spiritron Transfer, which brought him and the sleeping Ritsuka back to Chaldea. There, he traded for research materials and a quantum computer, then questioned Merlin about why Chaldea had summoned him.

  • The Avenger accepted his defeat, apologized to Iori, and vanished as Ritsuka reverted to her original form and fell into Iori's arms.
  • Mooncell resumed operation, the labyrinth began collapsing, and the adult Beast of White watched Iori and Ritsuka before disappearing.
  • Iori allowed the Spiritron Transfer to carry him away, and his system recorded a new Rama-related CG, affinity, Noble Phantasm, and skill.
  • At Chaldea, Merlin apologized and let Iori select materials for his Hueco Mundo research, Divine Vein Spirit Children, and an Atlas Institute quantum computer.
  • Iori explained that he planned to use the Divine Vein Spirit Children to create Ley Line nodes in Akame ga Kill!, then asked Merlin why Chaldea had summoned him; Merlin claimed it was a coincidence.

Ch. 265When Your Boyfriend Says He’s Not Happy.

Iori explained why Chaldea summoned him as a safe Foreigner, then returned to his worlds and planned to stop the Magic Tide Invasion. He crafted a crown for Ciel, whose attempt to interpret his teasing left them in a lively morning encounter.

  • Merlin explained that Iori was unusually suited to Chaldea's crisis as a relatively safe Foreigner, apologized, and was punched into a wall by Iori, earning a bond CG.
  • Iori visited The Eminence in Shadow, assessed Las Noches's rapid expansion, and considered investigating Purgatory World to end the Magic Tide Invasion.
  • Iori checked on Seireitei, where Beatrice, Tenko Yukihime, and Alpha had kept the organization running, and installed a quantum computer as its external brain.
  • Ciel woke to find Iori crafting a Magic Crest crown, and he placed it on her head as a gift.
  • Ciel misunderstood Iori's teasing about making him feel better, and their playful exchange continued amid rising magical energy.

Ch. 266The Centaur (?) Vasto Lorde, 4K / I Am the King of Hueco Mundo (4.5K)

Esdeath battled the female Vastolorde known as the Antelope Knight, trading powerful attacks until Iori intervened. He stopped their fight and demonstrated overwhelming power, leaving the Antelope Knight wary as he turned his attention toward her.

  • Esdeath fought the Antelope Knight, using ice techniques and Mahapadma while the knight countered with her lance and a Cero.
  • The Antelope Knight escaped Esdeath’s first Mahapadma with a Cero blast, and both fighters prepared to unleash their strongest attacks.
  • Iori arrived between them, deflected their weapons, and declared the battle over.
  • The Antelope Knight fired a charged Cero at Iori, but he caught it and returned its energy as Hadō Zero: Kai, carving a vast fissure through the ground.
  • The Antelope Knight recognized Iori’s attack as a warning, gripped her lance, and met his cold glance as he struck with a sword slash.

Ch. 267I Am the King of Hueco Mundo (4.5K) (Continued)

Iori intervened in Esdeath’s fight with the Antelope Knight, Nirggey, and explained why Soul Society did not need to kill every Hollow. He invited Nirggey to become his subordinate, leaving her stunned by the offer from a Bleach.

  • The Antelope Knight recognized that Iori could reflect her Cero and realized she was outmatched when he joined Esdeath.
  • Iori stopped the fight, and the Antelope Knight explained that she had been defending her territory and its Hollow residents.
  • Iori identified the Antelope Knight as Nirggey and concluded that Esdeath had entered her territory while hunting Hollows.
  • Iori told Nirggey that Bleach eliminated Hollows to maintain the balance of the three worlds, not because all Bleach and Hollows were natural enemies.
  • Iori invited Nirggey to serve as his knight, and she questioned how a Bleach could recruit her.

Ch. 268I, Nelliel, Swear to Defend My King to the Death! (5.5K)

Iori brought the Antelope Knight to Las Noches and showed her how he governed Hueco Mundo’s Hollows through rules, evolution research, and sanctioned combat. She began to understand his rule as one that let Hollows choose both how to live and how to die.

  • Iori revealed a Hollow mask and declared himself the King of Hueco Mundo, then returned with Esdeath and the Antelope Knight to Las Noches.
  • The Antelope Knight saw that Hollows under Iori’s rule lived together peacefully and learned that Las Noches used machines to chart their paths of evolution.
  • Iori explained that his system could make Adjuchas evolution more efficient but could not manufacture Vastolorde.
  • Iori and Esdeath showed the Antelope Knight the rebuilt Las Noches and the God Ascension Stairway, where Hollows could fight by choice for advancement.
  • The Antelope Knight objected that the arenas encouraged slaughter, but Iori said a king should grant subjects the freedom to choose their deaths as well as their lives.

Ch. 269How About a Cup of Oolong Tea? (4K)

Iori won Nirggeiyelluudoudeushufank’s loyalty by explaining his dream of restoring Hollows’ humanity and appointing her to help oversee him. Meanwhile, Kuchiki Sōjun admired Iori’s leadership of the Expeditionary Army but questioned his decision to let off-duty soldiers drink in the council hall, and Iori assured him no Menos Grande would attack.

  • Iori told the Antelope Knight that the God Ascension Stairway was part of his plan to help Hollows evolve and regain their humanity.
  • Nirggeiyelluudoudeushufank pledged her loyalty to Iori, and he gave her the right to warn him if he neglected his duties.
  • Kuchiki Sōjun surveyed the Expeditionary Army’s camp and reflected on Iori’s abilities and how he had united nobles and commoners.
  • Sōjun entered the council hall and found off-duty soldiers drinking and playing games while Iori served as a bartender.
  • Sōjun warned Iori that drinking could leave the camp vulnerable to a Menos Grande attack, but Iori said there would be no surprise attack.

Ch. 270Then Let’s Drag Them All Down With Us! (4.5K)

Iori revealed to Sōjun that he ruled Hueco Mundo, then got the young nobleman drunk and discovered how frail he was. He urged Sōjun to let him try to restore his health, leaving Sōjun doubtful but willing to consider it.

  • Iori told Sōjun that he was the King of Hueco Mundo, but Sōjun dismissed the claim as drunken nonsense.
  • Iori mixed Sōjun a drink, and Sōjun later woke in the medical department with no memory of passing out.
  • Iori assured Sōjun that nothing serious had happened while he was drunk and explained that he had only been brought to recover after passing out.
  • Iori confronted Sōjun about taking his frail body onto the battlefield and argued that protecting himself was necessary to protect comrades.
  • Sōjun offered to leave combat for logistics, but Iori said he wanted to try to cure him; Sōjun doubted that his congenital condition could be treated.

Ch. 271Isn’t the Soul Society Under Aizen’s Surname?

Iori gave Kuchiki Sōjun soul-nourishing Kōtan Magatama and secretly plotted to spread Hollowfication among influential Shinigami. After months of victories and training in Hueco Mundo, the Expeditionary Army prepared to return to Soul Society as Iori’s influence grew, just as a contact reported that they had finally found something.

  • Iori gave Sōjun three Kōtan Magatama to help stabilize his failing health, and Sōjun gratefully accepted them.
  • Iori told Nirggey he wondered how Soul Society would react if prominent Shinigami were discovered colluding with Menos and gaining Hollowfication powers.
  • Iori reflected that his controlled Hollowfication had greatly increased his Reiatsu, but he chose to keep developing rather than challenge Yamamoto.
  • Iori led the Expeditionary Army in hunting Hollows and expanding Las Noches, while Sōjun’s health improved and he began training for Bankai.
  • Esdeath secretly achieved Shikai and awakened a physical-type Zanpakuto, while Iori planned for her to eventually gain a captain’s position.
  • A contact summoned Iori from the laboratory and told him they had finally found it.

Ch. 272I’m Really Just Curious (Bonus Chapter)

Iori Aizen sought to recruit Tier Harribel, who rejected him as no different from Barragan and condemned Hueco Mundo’s rulers. After seeing the changes in Las Noches, she accepted Iori’s cause and pledged to help bring order and freedom to Hueco Mundo.

  • Szayelaporro reflected on his improved life under Iori and reported that Tier Harribel had refused the invitation to join him.
  • Iori defeated Tier Harribel and offered her one final chance to become his subordinate, but she insisted that neither he nor Barragan could make her submit.
  • Nirggeyeluudoudeushufank restrained Tier Harribel and her companions, then insisted that Iori’s rule and Las Noches were changing Hueco Mundo.
  • Tier Harribel saw Las Noches for herself and realized what Iori was building there.
  • Tier Harribel knelt before Iori and pledged to become his blade and help bring order and freedom to Hueco Mundo.

Ch. 273Dude, Who Are You? (4.5K)

Iori secured Tier Harribel’s loyalty in Hueco Mundo while Soul Society dealt with the aftermath of the expedition and prepared to welcome its returning soldiers. At the Senkaimon, Kuchiki Ginrei worried about his son Sōjun’s health as Sōjun’s likely appointment as Captain of the new Tenth Division threatened to stir political jealousy.

  • Tier Harribel praised Iori’s rule and pledged to take part in his undertaking, while Iori considered researching stable Arrancar and wondered about her Hollow Hole.
  • Zaraki arrived in Seireitei, defeated Kiyone, and took over as the new Eleventh Division Captain.
  • Shihōin Yoruichi achieved Bankai, and the Expeditionary Army announced that it would return half its soldiers to Soul Society.
  • At the Senkaimon, Sengoku Kyōka told Kuchiki Ginrei that soldiers expected the reorganized Tenth Division to need new leaders, and Ginrei confirmed that Sōjun was the leading Captain candidate.
  • Ginrei worried that the demanding post would strain Sōjun’s poor health, while recognizing that Iori’s recommendation had made Sōjun’s appointment difficult to oppose.
  • As the Senkaimon opened, Ginrei considered Iori’s plan to balance the Kuchiki clan’s influence by giving the Tenth Division’s Vice-Captain position to someone from the Shiba Clan.

Ch. 274Isn’t Kakyoin Handsome, Too?

The Expeditionary Army returned from Hueco Mundo, and Iori reunited with his family after learning that Sōjun had been restored to health and transformed into a muscular, handsome man. Iori received a Seireitei estate as a reward, but his family chose to keep living at Grandma’s shop for now.

  • The Senkaimon opened, and the Thirteen Court Guard Squads cheered as the Expeditionary Army returned from Hueco Mundo.
  • Kuchiki Ginrei and Koga barely recognized the newly muscular Sōjun, who credited his recovery to events in Hueco Mundo and thanked Captain Aizen.
  • Iori greeted Akame and Yuki, then explained that the Seireitei had awarded him the former Sumori estate as private property.
  • Iori told Grandma, Nemu, Yuki, and Akame that he planned to move them into the estate, but they preferred to remain at Grandma’s shop while construction continued.
  • Iori handed division matters to Sōjun and spent the ensuing lull mostly at the shop, sending Akame to visit her younger sister.

Ch. 275He Really… I’m Crying My Eyes Out (Bonus Chapter) / A Burial Place Prepared Just for You

Iori Aizen’s peaceful vacation was interrupted when Tsunayashiro Tokinada visited his grandmother’s shop to warn him against interfering in noble affairs. After Tokinada showed contempt for the shop’s fabric, Iori began considering how to deal with him.

  • Iori welcomed customers at his grandmother’s cloth shop until Tsunayashiro Tokinada arrived and asked about the fabric-dyeing technique.
  • Iori recognized Tokinada and confronted him about his connection to Tousen Kaname, while Tokinada dismissed Tousen as unimportant.
  • Tokinada warned Iori to keep out of noble affairs and said some people objected to his influence, including his recommendation of Kuchiki Sōjun for the Tenth Division.
  • Tokinada bought a bolt of indigo fabric, then discarded it in a gutter as he left; Iori’s grandmother did not see him do it.
  • Iori told Yuki that some creatures should not exist in his field of vision and asked whether he had been too gentle with the world.

Ch. 276A Burial Place Prepared Just for You (Continued)

Tsunayashiro Shitan courted noble connections and dismissed Iori Aizen while discussing Kuchiki Sōjun’s likely appointment to a second division. On his way home, Shitan was mysteriously led to Kyouka’s grave, where he confronted Tousen Kaname and mocked the idea that Tousen could kill him.

  • Tsunayashiro Shitan told the noble guests that Iori Aizen seemed unimpressive, while privately admitting Iori had made a strong impression on him.
  • Shitan explained that Kuchiki Sōjun’s appointment to lead another division was effectively settled after Captain-General approval, and said his visit to Iori had only been a warning from noble elders.
  • Shitan reviewed his political connections as he traveled home with two attendants, then realized they had somehow reached a deserted wilderness without his direction.
  • Shitan found Tousen Kaname beside Kyouka’s grave and assumed Tousen had arranged an ambush.
  • Tousen asked whether Shitan knew where he was, and Shitan recognized Kyouka’s grave before ridiculing Tousen’s supposed plan to kill him there.

Ch. 277As Long as I Feel Like It

Tousen confronted Tsunayashiro Shitan over Kyouka’s death, but Shitan’s taunts and confession drove Tousen to attack despite his wounds. Iori Aizen arrived as Shitan threatened him, leaving Shitan to learn why Iori had intervened.

  • Shitan dismissed Tousen’s threat and ordered his attendants to attack, and their blades pierced Tousen’s lungs and kidneys.
  • Shitan told Tousen that Kyouka had died during an experiment meant to test whether she would abandon her beliefs when facing death.
  • Tousen released Suzumushi’s sound waves to incapacitate Shitan’s attendants, then advanced toward Shitan with the blades still embedded in his body.
  • Shitan drew a Bakyō Blade and prepared to kill Tousen, but Iori Aizen appeared and interrupted him.
  • Shitan questioned why Iori had come and warned that Central 46 would react if he were killed, and Iori said he had not intervened exactly for Tousen.

Ch. 278That’s What Happens When Your Bond Meter Is Maxed Out.

Iori killed Tsunayashiro Tokinada’s ally Shitan, then encouraged Tousen Kaname to pursue the forces and consensus that enabled corruption rather than stop at personal revenge. While Iori and Tousen’s bond deepened, Shitan survived through Iori’s intervention and began plotting to protect himself; the chapter ended with news that Tousen had been stabbed.

  • Iori stopped Shitan from fleeing, destroyed the Bakyō Blade, and let Tousen confront him at Kyouka’s grave.
  • Tousen mourned Kyouka, and Iori played a flute; the moment earned the Farewell Moon bond reward and brought Tousen’s bond to its critical point.
  • Iori told Tousen that the consensus protecting powerful criminals was the root of evil, and asked whether he would uproot the system behind the tragedies.
  • Tousen pledged to stand beside Iori and pursue more than revenge, deepening his devotion to him.
  • Shitan told his attendants Tousen had escaped and ordered them to arrange a banquet to recruit influential allies and muddy any future case against him.
  • Someone reported that Tousen had been stabbed.

Ch. 279If We’re Going to Do It, Let’s Make Big News.

Iori Aizen used a disguise to infiltrate a gathering at Tsunayashiro Shitan’s residence and killed the assembled nobles, setting events up to implicate Shitan. Yoruichi arrived to arrest Shitan for attacking Tousen Kaname but found a room of corpses and a dying survivor who accused Shitan, leaving her to investigate the massacre.

  • Yoruichi and Bai Zhou agreed that the Shihoin clan would handle the case against Tsunayashiro Shitan, and Iori left to visit Tousen Kaname.
  • After leaving the barracks, Iori discarded his disguise and revealed himself as Yuki Aizen.
  • Iori entered Shitan’s residence disguised as Shitan, announced that he was Iori Aizen, and shut the nobles and attendants inside.
  • Yoruichi led her squad to arrest Shitan but found the gathered nobles murdered in his reception room.
  • A dying survivor blamed Shitan, and Yoruichi’s subordinate reported that the victims had likely known their killer.

Ch. 280The Seireitei Is No Match for Me!

Yoruichi and the others realized Tsunayashiro Shitan was tied to the attacks, while Iori disguised as his sister reassured the Captains that he would not act rashly. Iori then transformed into a terrifying Vastolorde, annihilated the Tsunayashiro elders’ gathering, and continued toward the Central Tower after effortlessly defeating Yoruichi and Shiba Kangen.

  • Yoruichi suspected Shitan had lured and killed his enemies, then heard an explosion from the direction of the Tsunayashiro main family.
  • Aizen Souyuki, disguised as Iori, told Unohana Retsu, Kyōraku Shunsui, Jushiro, and Hikifune Kirio about Tousen Kaname’s attack and listened as Shunsui vowed to bring Shitan to justice.
  • A beam of light destroyed the Tsunayashiro shrine and killed more than two-thirds of the clan elders gathered beneath it.
  • Iori emerged as a Vastolorde and released overwhelming Reiatsu, leaving the arriving Bleach powerless while he walked toward the Central Tower.
  • Shihōin Yoruichi and Shiba Kangen attacked Iori together, but he emerged unharmed and sent them flying with his chains before continuing on.
