Lu Ye was relieved that no attack greeted him after he revealed himself. He slightly restrained his aura, then ran toward where the crowd was thickest, looking as if he were in a great hurry.
With the plan having reached this point, it was basically more than halfway to success.
From here on, he no longer needed to deliberately conceal his tracks. There were several hundred people in a camp—members of the Main Sect, cultivators affiliated from other sects, and Rogue Cultivators who had attached themselves to it. It was impossible for every cultivator to know everyone else, so even if someone saw him, it would not matter much unless they happened to know Lu Ye and recognized him at a glance.
What was more, it was nighttime, which made things even easier.
As he raced along, Lu Ye kept his head slightly lowered, his hair falling over his forehead and concealing most of his face. He soon arrived at the place where the Wind Flower Pavilion cultivators had gathered.
Their own camp was under attack, and they had gathered here in groups of three or five. Though they were not worried that the Grand Array would be breached, the necessary vigilance and precautions still had to be maintained.
When Lu Ye came hurrying in from the rear of the camp, he did draw quite a few eyes. Yet most merely glanced at him before paying him no further attention. After all, no one could have imagined that someone could slip inside without a sound while the Protective Grand Array remained intact.
The few who looked at Lu Ye twice only found him somewhat unfamiliar and gave it no further thought. Unfamiliar faces often appeared in the camps of major sects; they were cultivators who had come from other sects
