Yuan Xi fought through Black Blood City's forces while Lu Ye supported her, but the battlefield's hidden blood threads revealed that Blood Calamity had engineered the war to uncover the Starry Sky Chessboard. The Chess Game was set, trapping the combatants as Lian explained that deaths and sufficiently fierce fighting had activated the Supreme Treasure.

• Yuan Xi swept through the Uniting Dao battlefield, killing enemies while Lu Ye gained Star Abyss Coins and Jiao pursued them.
• Black Blood ordered Yun Ke and Luo Molie to reinforce Jiao, and the two joined him in attacking Yuan Xi.
• Huan Qing noticed the blood threads crossing the Void, prompting Yuan Xi and Lian to recognize the danger and try to escape.
