Lu Ye did not know where Ban Ci had obtained this information. Even in the Little People Race's Abyss of Information Pavilion, he had never seen any records on the matter.
But throughout their journey, Ban Ci's vast knowledge and broad experience had left a deep impression on Lu Ye. Since she said so, she could not be wrong.
"What do we do?" Lu Ye dodged the crisscrossing spider silk in a bedraggled state, feeling that he was about to reach his limit.
There was little room to maneuver here, and the exit had been sealed tight by spiderwebs. Unless he relied on the controlled artifact he had left outside and activated the Void Spirit Pattern, escape was impossible.
But if he truly did that, the Crag Mountain Saber would certainly be lost, and Ban Ci's chances of survival would be slim.
Most importantly, the chaotic thoughts surging through his heart were incomparably fierce, delivering a tremendous blow to his mind. He had never encountered anything like this before.
"Lure it out!" Ban Ci gritted out.
Lu Ye understood her intention. The last of his resolve abruptly slackened at her words, causing his movements to stall slightly. A strand of spider silk immediately bound him tightly, and more drifting threads came floating over, sticking themselves to his body.
Lu Ye tried to break free, but he was powerless. He looked toward Ban Ci, his expression complicated. "Your information had better be right!"
If the information was wrong, he might not suffer much. At worst, he could directly teleport away. But Ban Ci's sacrifice would be far too great.
Still, this was a hope. It was better than leaving Ban Ci here alone.
Ban Ci closed her eyes, as though she had accepted her fate.
With a ripping sound, the spider
