Lu Ye had to consider more than just getting through himself. He had to consider what to do when he brought cultivators from his own star system over in the future.
On his own, he could conceal his tracks. As long as he was careful, there should not be much of a problem.
But when he brought people from the Jade Conch Star System over, an entire fleet could not be easily hidden. If they were discovered, given the Insect Race's nature, they would never allow the fleet to pass safely. Once conflict broke out, Jade Conch would be unable to withstand it.
After pondering for a moment, Lu Ye asked, "Would taking a detour work?"
Directions in the starry sky were not fixed. The Star Map the Cycle Tree had given him was merely one route; he did not necessarily have to follow it exactly. He could make a slight detour, avoid the starry regions occupied by the Insect Race, then reconnect with the route on the Star Map.
However, that would take much longer. It might waste several years.
Jiang Shang said, "It may be possible. But as long as the Insect Nest remains, no one knows how far the Insect Race's tentacles may extend. If the direction of your detour happens to fall within their reach, trouble will ultimately be unavoidable."
That made things somewhat difficult.
Lu Ye could not possibly ask Jiang Shang to mobilize the Undetermined Star System's strength to deal with the Insect Nest. The Insect Nest had drifted here decades ago. If the Undetermined Star System had been capable of resolving it, they certainly would not have delayed until today. Since they had not dealt with it, the matter was clearly extremely thorny.
Just as Lu Ye was troubled, Jiang Shang spoke again.
