Lu Ye handed the so-called treasure back to Yu Yaorao, but she merely pursed her lips in a smile. "It's yours."
Whether this thing was truly a treasure or not, giving it to Lu Ye would affect her final reward, because one of the tasks in this trial had been to take this treasure away.
But without Lu Ye on this trip, she likely would not even have survived. Now, thanks to him, she had completed the trial. What did it matter if she gave it away?
Lu Ye did not refuse.
The two then exchanged imprints through their Asura Tokens. Yu Yaorao gave him a playful wink. "Second Uncle, see you later!"
Then she turned and left.
Lu Ye watched her go. Before long, the Black Cloud Fleet, having regrouped, set off into the distance until it vanished beyond the horizon.
Just as Lu Ye was about to return to the Nine Heavens Star Pirate Group, he suddenly found himself unable to move, as though an invisible force had restrained him.
He did not panic, for he roughly knew what was happening.
The scenery around him abruptly shattered, followed by the collapse of the world itself. Specks of Spiritual Light gathered from every direction and flowed into his Asura Token.
His vision suddenly cleared.
When Lu Ye came back to his senses, he was no longer in that vast starry sky. Dense realm aura enveloped him, and cultivators were abruptly appearing and disappearing all around him.
His first trial had ended. He had returned to the Heavenly Asura Realm.
After looking around and using his Asura Token to sense the location of his Cave Abode, Lu Ye discovered that he had returned to the very spot where he had entered the trial. It was as though nothing had changed.
