Muffled thunder rolled, and lightning twisted like long serpents across the sky. The clouds hung heavy, creating an intensely oppressive feeling.
Lu Ye looked up at the sky, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"When will this damned weather ever end?" The rough-looking man squatting nearby muttered. He spat to one side, seemingly venting his dissatisfaction.
"How long has this weather lasted?" Lu Ye asked.
"Two months," the man answered carefully. Though he was an ordinary mortal, he knew something of cultivation. Lu Ye's extraordinary bearing made it obvious at a glance that he was an accomplished cultivator, inspiring both longing and awe in him.
Lu Ye said nothing.
To this rough man, there was nothing particularly unusual about such weather. It was merely a little harsher than usual. All he cared about was whether the crops in his fields could grow, and whether the autumn harvest would provide enough food for the coming year.
But what Lu Ye saw was naturally different.
He could clearly sense the residual waves of a fierce battle beyond the heavens. The abnormal celestial phenomena were partly due to nature itself, but the greater cause was this conflict.

He did not know much about this realm's foundations, but judging from the Moon Jade Realm cultivator he had encountered earlier, it was undoubtedly a Large Realm. He simply did not know whether it had any Sunlight Realm cultivators.
If it did not, then he would not have much to worry about. But if it did, that would be another matter entirely.
Thinking of the ill-fortune character on the Fate Dice, Lu Ye guessed there was a strong chance that this realm had Sunlight Realm cultivators.
