You Die's gaze flickered. She vaguely guessed that the person was likely some powerful figure from the Human Race. Lu Ye was Human Race, after all. Now that he could bring people out of Variegated, he would naturally prioritize looking after cultivators of his own race.
As for herself... she had probably only been chosen by Lu Ye thanks to the Life Chain.

"Aren't we going in?" Seeing Lu Ye standing atop the Sacrificial Altar without moving, You Die could not help asking.
