Boundless City's core was not difficult to find, because it lay in a great hall at the very center of the massive city. Ziying began refining it. It was not overly difficult; by her own estimate, she would need less than a month to succeed.
Once that was done, she would be able to control Boundless City and send it into Variegated for settlement.
While Ziying was busy, Lu Ye did not remain idle either.
He first went to where the many Bone Pools were located and informed the Bone Vessels of the destruction of Boundless City's Beast Race Merging Dao cultivators. He had thought that upon hearing this news, the Bone Vessels would be overjoyed. After all, with those Beast Race Merging Dao cultivators gone, they could regain their freedom and no longer live as miserably as before under oppression.
Yet the reaction of every Bone Vessel was muted—one could even call it cold.

Among Boundless City's many races, the Human Race held the lowest, most wretched status, no different from livestock. Faced with such an enormous sudden change, they simply could not adapt.
Change could not be made overnight. It would likely require the efforts of several generations, or even longer.
Lu Ye did not force the Bone Vessels.
