A voice came from it. "Before leaving, I'd like to ask you for a favor."
"What?" Lu Ye could not help being surprised. What could the Tower of Time possibly need his help with? From the looks of it, it had clearly not been heavily eroded.
The Tower Spirit said, "My mission has been completed, so I would like to ask you to help me break free from the River of Time and Sequence."
Its mission was the Ancestral Abyss Restriction, whose purpose was to seal away the Mad Dragons of every generation. Now that those many Dragon Race powerhouses had been taken into Lu Ye's Inner Realm, the Ancestral Abyss Restriction existed in name only. Naturally, there was no longer any need for the Tower of Time to remain in the River of Time and Sequence.
Lu Ye was astonished. "You mean you're trapped in the River of Time and Sequence?"
The Tower Spirit said, "My master placed me here back then. The passage of time has been far too long, and the scouring of the Power of Time and Sequence has made me almost merge as one with the River of Time and Sequence. That is why I cannot leave this place on my own."
"What should I do?" Lu Ye asked.
The Tower Spirit said, "I don't know, but you definitely have a way. Only you can help me break free."
Lu Ye's head began to ache. If the Tower Spirit could provide a concrete plan, then so long as it was within his ability, he would not begrudge it. But the Tower Spirit itself could not explain what had to be done.
