On the Ten-Part Map, White Jade City Pass lay to its left and Clear Moon Cave Pass to its right. Though the three great passes were each separated by some distance, they could support one another from afar, closely linked into a single defensive line.

Under normal circumstances, this defensive line stretching two thousand miles from side to side, not even counting its depth, required a great number of cultivators spread out on patrol to prevent Myriad Demon Ridge cultivators from slipping in.
