Ch. 2144Nine Provinces Migration

Lu Ye helped Little Nine move Nine Provinces to Thousand Hills Tomb and replenish its depleted foundation with resources from Nebula Grave Mounds, while the starry sky prepared for the coming invasion. He returned to Myriad Phenomena Sea, where leaders discussed opening Spirit Islands to cultivators and establishing a star-wide Merit Pavilion.

  • Little Nine moved Nine Provinces to Thousand Hills Tomb using the Heaven's Mystery Disk, leaving the realm's spiritual energy depleted.
  • Lu Ye sent Treasure Blood Clones to install Heaven's Mystery Pillars in nearby Nebula Grave Mounds, restoring Nine Provinces' spiritual energy and setting it on course to become a Top-tier Realm.
  • Lu Ye informed Old Tree of his agreement with Azure Bird about searching for Dancing Maiden, then asked Azure Bird to watch over Nine Provinces.
  • Lu Ye returned to Myriad Phenomena Sea and joined Sunlight cultivators at Three Realms Island to discuss defenses against the coming Star Abyss invasion.
  • Luan Xiao'e reported that Spirit Islands were admitting cultivators regardless of faction and that Myriad Phenomena Sea had established a Merit Pavilion under Nine Radiance's management.

Ch. 2145Brothers Bound by Deep Affection

Lu Ye helped prepare the Myriad Phenomena Sea for the coming Star Abyss invasion, then reunited with Chu Shen and Hua Ci before returning to cultivation. He discovered that the Talent Tree’s fourth transformation let him devour spiritual energy so quickly that his Magic Source could no longer refine it fast enough.

  • Mang Dang told Lu Ye that the Star Abyss Gate was expected to open near Jade Sword Island, where the area had been cleared for a defensive front.
  • Ma Bin explained that he had forged his Dao Foundation using lingering Star Abyss aura, and Lu Ye gave him the Sword Gourd to refine its Sword Qi into Dao Force.
  • Chu Shen reunited with Lu Ye, thanked him for protecting Nine Radiance, and drank with him until they were both drunk.
  • Lu Ye carried Hua Ci back to his residence, but after several days together, he was left exhausted while she departed to cultivate.
  • Lu Ye descended beneath the Myriad Phenomena Sea and used the Talent Tree to devour spiritual energy, overwhelming his Magic Source’s refining capacity.

Ch. 2146Star Abyss Gate Opens

Lu Ye broke through to Great Sun Late Stage and confirmed he could wield Eight Dao as the Star Abyss Gate reopened near Jade Sword Island. Star Abyss invaders began arriving, and while Lu Ye and his allies guarded the gate, other Sunlights faced the vast gap in strength; a second gate later opened in the Phantom Extinction Star System.

  • Lu Ye broke through to Great Sun Late Stage and confirmed he could barely wield the power of Eight Dao.
  • Nine Provinces became a Top-tier Realm, while Old Tree and Little Nine helped Sunlight cultivators from across the starry sky prepare for the invasion.
  • The Star Abyss Gate reopened near Jade Sword Island, and Nine Radiance killed the first Ox Demon after it provoked her.
  • Sunlights fought another Star Abyss cultivator and discovered that even their combined strength could barely overcome its Dao Power, while Lu Ye, Nine Radiance, and Chong Yue killed the other early invaders.
  • The Star Abyss Gate opened in the Phantom Extinction Star System, where Chen Wulei and Chang Yu guarded against the weak first invaders.
  • Lu Ye learned that Yin Luo had followed his instruction to let invasions proceed unless a Fusion Dao expert tried to enter.

Ch. 2147Something Happened

Lu Ye answered the Cycle Tree's urgent summons and found a low-tier realm being overrun by locusts commanded by an Insect Race invader. After rescuing the realm, he discovered an unexpected Star Abyss Gate surrounded by a united force of Insect Race members.

  • Lu Ye learned that three of the five expected Star Abyss Gates had opened and then left for the Soul Race Ancestral Land to refine the Soul Suppressing Mystic Art.
  • The Cycle Tree summoned Lu Ye to a ruined realm where giant locusts were devouring its inhabitants.
  • Lu Ye killed the Insect Race cultivator directing the locusts, while his nine Treasure Blood Clones cleared the swarms and their infected corpses.
  • Lu Ye's Clones searched the surrounding starry sky and found a previously unknown Star Abyss Gate.
  • Lu Ye saw that a large force of Insect Race members had gathered peacefully around the gate.

Ch. 2148Within the Spirit Warming Lotus

Lu Ye exterminated the Insect Race near the Star Abyss Gate by the Lan Yun Realm and organized a search for the Dao Realm invaders scattered through the starry sky. At the Soul Race Ancestral Land, the Spirit Warming Lotus drew his soul into its interior, where he began tempering his Soul Suppressing Mystic Art toward consummation.

  • Lu Ye slaughtered the Insect Race gathered around the Star Abyss Gate and left his Talent Tree Clone to guard it while he hunted down those who fled.
  • Lu Ye, Chang Yu, Chong Yue, Phantom Shadow, Chen Li, and Du Qingsha searched for and killed more than ten Dao Realm Insect Race members scattered across the starry sky.
  • Lu Ye left Chong Yue and Phantom Shadow to guard the Star Abyss Gate near the Lan Yun Realm and learned that Ma Bin would assist Nine Radiance at the Myriad Phenomena Sea.
  • Lu Ye entered the Soul Race Ancestral Land and followed the Spirit Warming Lotus's summons, sensing that foreign Sunlight cultivators were secluded there.
  • The Spirit Warming Lotus drew Lu Ye's Soul Body into its interior, where the Nine-colored Small Island steadily nourished his Soul Power.
  • Lu Ye used the Talent Tree to repeatedly refine his Soul Suppressing Mystic Art, seeking consummation and the remaining Spirit Flower.

Ch. 2149Soul Energy Empowerment

Lu Ye endured years of increasingly violent trials inside the Spirit Warming Lotus, gradually perfecting the Soul Suppressing Mystic Art and strengthening his Soul Body. After he finally survived the trials, the Lotus empowered him with immense Soul Energy, revealing the purpose of its tests.

  • Lu Ye reflected on the difficulty of gathering all Three Flowers and resolved to pursue the Spirit Flower despite the challenge.
  • Old Tree organized patrols across the starry sky after the Star Abyss Gate near the Lan Yun Realm opened, and Leng Bi became the first new Dao Realm cultivator to emerge from the crisis.
  • Lu Ye continued training inside the Spirit Warming Lotus, where natural disasters repeatedly shattered his Soul Suppressing Mystic Art and injured his soul, forcing him to recover and improve.
  • Lu Ye spent years rebuilding the technique and fighting through the Soul Sea with crew members manifested from imprints, gradually becoming able to withstand the disasters for longer.
  • Lu Ye finally endured the Soul Sea trial, after which nine-colored light poured into him and empowered his Soul Body with vast Soul Energy.

Ch. 2150Spirit Flower

Lu Ye refined the Seven-Colored Divine Lotus into his Soul Body, formed his Spirit Flower, and reached Great Sun Peak, then returned to the starry sky and visited the Azure Bird to ask about Dao Fusion. The Azure Bird explained that Star Abyss Will guided cultivators toward Dao Fusion and punished others for revealing those teachings prematurely.

  • Lu Ye absorbed the Seven-Colored Divine Lotus, formed his Spirit Flower, and reached Great Sun Peak, allowing him to wield Ninth Layer Dao power without pressure.
  • Lu Ye returned through the Starry Sky Pool, changed course toward Thousand Hills Tomb, and then visited Nine Provinces.
  • Lu Ye found the Cycle Tree entering reincarnation and reassured Old Tree before Little Nine concealed the tree and its surroundings.
  • Lu Ye left Nine Provinces and found the Azure Bird with the Dancing Maiden at Thousand Hills Tomb.
  • Lu Ye asked the Azure Bird about Dao Fusion, and she explained that Star Abyss Will would teach him when he became strong enough and could punish anyone who explained it too soon.

Ch. 2151Forging the Foundation

Lu Ye returned to the Myriad Phenomena Sea and prepared to forge his Dao Foundation with the Furnace Method. After meeting Yaya and reuniting with Nine Radiance at the Star Abyss Gate, he ignited his Dao Fire and began the foundation-forging process.

  • Lu Ye returned to Three Realms Island, heard Tang Jun’s account of the Myriad Phenomena Sea, and headed for Jade Sword Island to forge his Dao Foundation.
  • Lu Ye encountered Yaya, easily stopped her attacks, and learned she had reached Five Dao Power.
  • Lu Ye reached the Star Abyss Gate, where Nine Radiance agreed to guard him as he began forging his foundation.
  • Lu Ye used the Furnace Method, turning his body into a furnace and igniting his Dao Fire with ease.

Ch. 2152I'm Having a Hell of a Good Time

Lu Ye ignited a Dao Fire to forge his Dao Foundation, but his extreme essence, qi, and spirit made the fire burn uncontrollably through his body. He entered the Dao Realm without forming a personal Dao Bone, then began testing whether he could temper a second one.

  • Lu Ye poured his essence, qi, and spirit into the Dao Fire, which blazed far more fiercely than expected and burned through his body.
  • Fang awakened inside the Liao Saber and reveled in the Dao Fire’s tempering, saying it might help him break his shackles and advance.
  • The Dao Fire eventually vanished, and Lu Ye realized he had genuinely entered the Dao Realm despite failing to form a Dao Bone of his own.
  • Lu Ye examined his condition, wondered whether the Talent Tree had become his Dao Bone, and chose another bone to temper with Dao Power.

Ch. 2153Fifteenth Layer Dao

Lu Ye discovered that his Dao Bones could recover tougher after failed polishing, allowing him to surpass the Ninth Layer Dao limit and reach the Fifteenth Layer. He stopped polishing further bones to preserve Dao Power for himself and his Talent Tree Clone.

  • Lu Ye shattered and failed to polish his first Dao Bone, then watched it reassemble tougher than before.
  • Lu Ye successfully polished his first five Dao Bones and found that he could wield Fourteen Dao Power without strain.
  • Lu Ye polished a sixth Dao Bone after repeated failures, reaching Fifteenth Layer Dao and realizing he was not bound by the Ninth Layer limit.
  • Lu Ye suspected that tempering his body with Dao Fire through the Three Flowers had enabled his unusual advancement.
  • Lu Ye stopped polishing Dao Bones because his remaining Dao Power needed to sustain his own strength and that of his Talent Tree Clone.

Ch. 2154Dao Soldier

Lu Ye discovered that Fang had become a Dao Soldier and learned to wield the Crag Mountain Saber without losing his Dao force. After leaving Hua Ci and returning to the Phantom Extinction Star System, he asked Chen Wulei about an Eight Dao powerhouse who had disappeared after entering the Star Abyss.

  • Lu Ye tested the Crag Mountain Saber and confirmed Fang had become a Dao Soldier that devoured his unmerged Dao force.
  • Fang suggested merging Dao force into Magic Power, letting Lu Ye use the saber without it consuming his strength.
  • Lu Ye decided to seek more Dao force, asked Old Tang to have a scabbard made, and visited Hua Ci before departing.
  • Lu Ye traveled to the Phantom Extinction Star System and met Chang Yu and Chen Wulei near the Star Abyss Gate.
  • Lu Ye asked Chen Wulei whether an Eight Dao powerhouse from his starry sky had entered the Star Abyss and vanished.

Ch. 2155Entering Star Abyss

Lu Ye entered Star Abyss through the Star Abyss Gate to gather Dao Power and search for a way to save the starry sky. Inside a crimson passage, he slaughtered invading cultivators, but the passage spawned powerful giant creatures that pursued him as he fled toward Star Abyss.

  • Lu Ye learned from Chen Wulei that the strongest Star Abyss creature to enter the starry sky had once been Sixth Dao, and decided to enter Star Abyss himself.
  • Lu Ye confirmed that Azure Palace was still stationed on the other side, then said farewell to Chen Wulei and Chang Yu and entered the Star Abyss Gate.
  • Lu Ye arrived in a crimson passage and killed the Star Abyss cultivators struggling toward the gate, collecting their Dao Bones.
  • A giant mosquito-like creature emerged from the passage, struck Lu Ye with nine Dao strength, and was killed by his full fourteen Dao power, but left no Dao Bone.
  • More than a dozen giant creatures began emerging from the passage, so Lu Ye ran toward Star Abyss while the creatures pursued him.

Ch. 2156Starry Sky Devourer

Lu Ye returned through the Star Abyss Gate and learned that a Dao Union-level Starry Sky Devourer was draining his Starry Sky’s foundation. He discovered that the Gate’s rules prevented the gathered Star Abyss creatures from killing one another, leaving his plan to gain strength by hunting them in doubt.

  • Lu Ye escaped through the Star Abyss Gate, invoked Lady Yin Luo’s order to pass the gathered creatures, and went to Azure Palace.
  • Yin Luo joyfully reunited with Lu Ye and ate three of his Treasure Blood Clones while he asked Uncle Duan about the giant creatures that had pursued him.
  • Uncle Duan explained that a Starry Sky Devourer had opened the Gate by biting into the Starry Sky, and that its Ninth Layer Dao creatures were projections of its will.
  • Yin Luo revealed that she had seen the Devourer before and identified it as a Dao Union; she promised to kill it after advancing to that realm.
  • Lu Ye learned that a Star Abyss Gate’s owner could not kill creatures gathered around it, and realized he could not use them to quickly obtain Dao Bones.

Ch. 2157Departure

Lu Ye left the Azure Palace to temper more Dao Bones, taking Uncle Duan’s Filth Pearl to conceal his aura as he traveled through the Star Abyss. After luring a group of cultivators with his pure aura, he learned that they had sent only one man to approach him, and Chen Wu assured him they meant no harm.

  • Lu Ye decided to leave the Azure Palace, and Uncle Duan gave him a Filth Pearl that could hide his aura while warning him that the Human Race was poorly regarded in the Star Abyss.
  • Lu Ye departed under Yin Luo’s tearful gaze, replenished the Talent Tree at a great sun, and killed scattered Star Abyss creatures as he traveled.
  • Lu Ye successfully tempered his seventh Dao Bone on his first attempt, but spent nearly a thousand Dao Power and failed to temper his eighth.
  • A woman leading a group of more than twenty cultivators spotted Lu Ye’s pure aura and ordered Chen Wu to bring the newly arrived Human Race cultivator over.
  • Lu Ye fled to lure the group into pursuing him, but only Chen Wu followed, and Chen Wu called out that they meant him no harm.

Ch. 2158Qing Yu

Lu Ye joined Qing Yu’s group of Human Race remnants and learned about their plans to compete for Dao Fish at a Dao Pool. As the group traveled toward the pool, Qing Yu kept him under watch, while Lu Ye weighed the chance to gather Dao power from the rival factions Man Mountain and Dragon Spine.

  • Chen Wu invited Lu Ye to meet Qing Yu, and Lu Ye agreed to travel with her group.
  • Qing Yu noticed that Lu Ye seemed unusually clean and composed, so she placed him in the group’s middle and asked Chen Wu to watch him.
  • Lu Ye learned that Qing Yu’s group consisted of Human Race remnants rescued after their starry sky shattered.
  • Chen Wu explained that Dao Pools sometimes produced Dao Fish, condensations of pure Dao power, and that Qing Yu’s group was heading to compete for them.
  • Lu Ye learned that Man Mountain, led by a powerful Barbarian Race cultivator, and Dragon Spine, made up mostly of Demon Race cultivators, were the other factions seeking Dao Fish.

Ch. 2159Something Was Wrong

Lu Ye and Qing Yu’s group reached the Dao Pool, where they discovered that Man Mountain had advanced to Dao Integration and joined forces with Dragon Spine to trap them. As Qing Yu confronted Man Mountain, Lu Ye began tempering his eighth Dao Bone while the others faced the prospect of submission or death.

  • Chen Wu told Lu Ye that Man Mountain and Dragon Spine’s leaders prevented any followers from becoming nine-Dao cultivators before they advanced themselves.
  • Lu Ye’s group reached the Dao Pool and found Man Mountain’s unusually small force waiting there.
  • Lu Ye warned Qing Yu that Man Mountain seemed stronger than a nine-Dao cultivator, and she ordered her people to leave.
  • Dragon Spine’s forces arrived and blocked their retreat, revealing that Man Mountain had subdued Dragon Spine after advancing to Dao Integration.
  • Lu Ye asked Qing Yu to stall for time and began tempering his eighth Dao Bone.
  • Qing Yu attacked Man Mountain with her whip, but he shattered it effortlessly and confirmed that he had reached Dao Integration.

Ch. 2160Sharpening the Spear at the Last Minute

Qing Yu and her followers faced Man Mountain’s demand for twenty Dao Bones, and Lu Ye revealed his strength when the battle began. He left Man Mountain badly wounded and gave Qing Yu’s group a chance to retreat, while their fight continued inside the Blood Sea.

  • Man Mountain demanded twenty Dao Bones from Qing Yu’s group, and Qing Yu ordered everyone to split up and run when he threatened them.
  • Qing Yu’s followers charged with her, but Lu Ye unleashed a Blood Sea and killed the Dragon Spine Great Demon with a single collision.
  • Lu Ye told Qing Yu to retreat, then charged Man Mountain and wounded him with a slash that severed his arm and cut his chest.
  • Qing Yu ordered her group to fall back and seek a chance to escape as she realized Lu Ye was fighting Man Mountain.
  • Man Mountain fought Lu Ye inside the Blood Sea, struggling against the power of Lu Ye’s seventeen or eighteen Dao Bones.

Ch. 2161After Taking Long, He Covets Shu

Lu Ye and his Clone battled Man Mountain while Qing Yu and the others escaped, then joined the fight to help wear down the Fusion Dao cultivator. Man Mountain tried to flee after his followers were killed, but Lu Ye refused to let him escape.

  • Lu Ye used the Blood Sea battle to let Qing Yu and more than twenty Human Race cultivators escape while he fought Man Mountain and slaughtered the Dragon Spine cultivators.
  • Qing Yu’s group saw Lu Ye and his Clone facing Man Mountain among the corpses of his followers, and realized Lu Ye could contend with a Fusion Dao cultivator.
  • Man Mountain charged Lu Ye, but Lu Ye’s Clone struck him with Mystic Fire from the Fire Gourd as Lu Ye attacked with his saber.
  • Lu Ye and his Clone alternated attacks, forcing Man Mountain to defend himself until Qing Yu ordered the others to support them from a distance.
  • Man Mountain broke out of Qing Yu’s group’s encirclement and tried to flee, but Lu Ye moved to stop him after spending nearly three hundred measures of Dao Power.

Ch. 2162Slaying a Fusion Dao

Lu Ye killed Man Mountain after a brutal battle in which his Talent Tree Clone died, then received a mysterious Star Abyss Blessing that healed and strengthened him. Qing Yu explained how cultivators earned the blessing, but Lu Ye remained wary of its hidden effects.

  • Lu Ye used Liao Power and his Talent Tree Clone’s reckless attacks to stop Man Mountain from escaping and exhaust his Dao Power.
  • Man Mountain killed the Talent Tree Clone, but Lu Ye cut off his own arm to escape Man Mountain’s desperate counterattack.
  • Lu Ye caught his severed arm and Crag Mountain Saber, then beheaded Man Mountain, killing a Fusion Dao cultivator.
  • A dark cloud sent a beam into Lu Ye, rapidly healing his injuries while the Talent Tree swayed and emitted black smoke.
  • Qing Yu congratulated Lu Ye on receiving the Star Abyss Blessing and explained that it could reward cultivators who killed enough enemies or defeated stronger opponents.

Ch. 2163Star Abyss Blessing

After recovering from the Star Abyss Blessing and refining the spoils from the battle, Lu Ye declined Qing Yu’s offer to join forces. He directed her group toward Yin Luo’s Azure Palace and invited them to help defend the starry sky he came from.

  • Qing Yu explained that the Star Abyss Blessing had healed Lu Ye’s injuries, while he reclaimed his Talent Tree roots and gathered the Dao Bones from Dragon Spine and Man Mountain’s followers.
  • Lu Ye recovered at the Dao Pool, refined the Dao Bones for nearly two thousand strands of Dao Power, and kept the remains for possible use with the Starry Tree.
  • Qing Yu offered to pledge her group to Lu Ye, but he declined and pointed them toward Yin Luo’s Azure Palace at a nearby Star Abyss Gate.
  • Lu Ye revealed that the starry sky beyond the gate was his home and said Yin Luo had protected him there.
  • Qing Yu considered Lu Ye’s proposal that her group enter his starry sky and help defend it against the Star Abyss invasion.
