She knew all too well that the Demon Soul Great White Shark Clan might be able to put some distance between themselves and the Evil Orcas in the short term, but they couldn't outrun them forever if the Evil Orcas kept giving chase.
Her clan's endurance was far inferior to the Evil Orcas'.
They had no chance in a head-on fight either.
But if they kept running, they might end up too exhausted to fight back at all.
"Stop!" Xiao Bai's mental voice rang through the entire clan, filled with tragic resolve and defiance. "My clan, we can retreat no farther! For our home! For the continuation of our bloodline! We fight to the death!"

All the Demon Soul Great White Sharks answered as one, their readiness to die gathering into a single, unyielding force.

The Evil Orca King soon caught up and laughed as he led the attack.
