Beside her stood a tall, powerfully built man with black hair and a stern, resolute face. He stood half a step behind Gu Yuena, his posture respectful, yet his powerful aura marked him as her protector.
Behind them stood a peerlessly beautiful woman with a gentle air, dressed in a jade-green gown.
