Ch. 21Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well

At Sun Moon Royal Academy, Jing Hongchen reprimanded Xiao Hongchen for neglecting his studies while watching Wu Wei use soul cannons to escape. Within the Sky Screen, Di Tian reached the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, sensed the remains of the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King, and was confronted by an angry woman.

  • Xiao Hongchen marveled at Wu Wei using soul cannons as thrusters while Jing Hongchen privately taught him and Meng Hongchen.
  • Jing Hongchen struck Xiao Hongchen with a textbook and warned him to focus on Soul Tool theory.
  • Di Tian crossed the poisonous miasma and arrived at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well.
  • Di Tian sensed the remains of the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King beneath the pool.
  • A woman attacked Di Tian with a fireball and shouted at him for trespassing.

Ch. 22I, Di Tian, Accept!

Di Tian demanded that the guardians of the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well reveal the methods the Sea God left behind, but they attacked instead. After killing the Infernal Delicate Apricot, the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass, and the Aromatic Silk Beauty, Di Tian prepared to retrieve the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ remains and face whatever the Sea God had set in place.

  • Di Tian asked the Infernal Delicate Apricot about the Sea God’s methods, but she sent a water-made swordsman to attack him.
  • Di Tian destroyed the swordsman twice, restrained the Infernal Delicate Apricot, and defeated the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass’s ice attack.
  • Di Tian snapped the Infernal Delicate Apricot in two after she refused to answer, and a red Soul Ring rose from her body.
  • The Aromatic Silk Beauty emerged to avenge the other herbs, but Di Tian killed her with a glance, leaving another Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring.
  • Di Tian approached the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well and prepared to retrieve the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ remains, expecting the Sea God’s methods to activate.

Ch. 23Sea God Tang San

The Heaven Dou Empire and Body Sect’s Title Douluos investigated the vanished energy in Sunset Forest but were knocked aside by a speeding black cube. Di Tian raised the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ remains from the ruined Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, awakening a furious divine-sense avatar of Sea God Tang San.

  • Du Busi and Lv Chengkun led the Heaven Dou Empire’s Title Douluos into Sunset Forest to investigate the vanished Soul Power, while Du Busi doubted Lv Chengkun’s claim that the empire knew nothing.
  • A black cube surrounded by soul-guided cannons sped through the group, scattering the Title Douluos and leaving Lv Chengkun embedded in a tree.
  • Du Busi ordered the battered Title Douluos to regroup and continue, concealing his own trembling arm.
  • Di Tian used purple Soul Power to lift the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King’s remains from beneath the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, wrecking the spring.
  • A golden beam erupted from the ruined spring, and Sea God Tang San’s divine-sense avatar appeared and angrily confronted Di Tian for destroying the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well.

Ch. 24You have already courted death!

  • Tang San realized Di Tian had reached god level and questioned why he had not answered the Divine Realm's summons.
  • Di Tian said Soul Beasts were barred from becoming gods, and Tang San charged him with the Sea God Trident using Never Return.
  • Di Tian unleashed his full power, sending purple soul power surging into the clouds and matching Tang San's golden divine power.

Ch. 25Battle the Sea God!

Di Tian and Tang San clashed with powerful Divine Skills, and Di Tian struck Tang San while being caught in Unfixed Wind and Waves himself. Tang San prepared to finish him, but the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ Dragon Bones suddenly attacked, forcing him to evade.

  • Di Tian’s Dragon God Claw shattered Tang San’s imitation Sea God Trident and broke through most of his Unfixed Wind and Waves discs before Tang San blocked it.
  • Di Tian vanished into the smoke and struck Tang San from behind, sending him flying with a dragon-powered punch.
  • Tang San’s remaining Unfixed Wind and Waves discs trapped Di Tian, and Tang San prepared to finish him with one blow.
  • The Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ Dragon Bones launched ice and fire attacks at Tang San, who narrowly evaded them.

Ch. 26Ice and Fire Dragon Kings

Tang San fought the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ animated Dragon Bones, which Di Tian controlled with purple Soul Power, and their attacks shook the Sunset Forest. Du Busi and Lv Chengkun’s party approached the battle but were blasted by the shockwave, leaving Du Busi stunned at the devastated forest.

  • Di Tian’s purple Soul Power animated the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ Dragon Bones, and they attacked Tang San with God Level ice and fire.
  • Tang San countered with the Golden Thirteen Halberds’ Eons of Emptiness, and the attacks collided in a massive explosion.
  • Du Busi and Lv Chengkun led more than a dozen Title Douluo through the forest toward the distant fighting, intending to punish those responsible for the destruction.
  • A shockwave swept through the forest and hurled Du Busi’s group into the ruins.
  • Du Busi saw that the blast had flattened a twenty-mile stretch of Sunset Forest and killed numerous weak Soul Beasts.

Ch. 27War of the Gods

Du Busi and Lv Chengkun realized the distant battle was between God Level experts as Tang San fought the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings. After the Dragon Bones cracked the Sea God Manifestation’s trident, Tang San merged with it and unleashed Unfixed Wind and Waves.

  • Du Busi watched the battle and recognized that the combatants had God Level strength, while Lv Chengkun stared in astonishment.
  • Tang San struggled against the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings, whose attacks left wounds that alternated between freezing and burning.
  • Tang San hesitated to use destructive divine skills because the Dragon Bones were the foundation of the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well and feared the God of Destruction would notice if he sent more Divine Power.
  • Tang San summoned the Sea God Manifestation and struck at the Dragon Bones with its phantom trident.
  • The Ice and Fire Dragon Kings dodged the strike and alternated fire and ice against the trident until it cracked.
  • Tang San merged the Sea God Manifestation into his body and unleashed Unfixed Wind and Waves at the Dragon Bones.

Ch. 28Trap the Sea God!

Tang San defeated the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings' Dragon Bones, but Di Tian revealed a spatial technique derived from Unfixed Wind and Waves and trapped him inside a cage of purple discs. Tang San exhausted himself trying to escape and remained trapped, challenging Di Tian to fight him directly.

  • Tang San used Unfixed Wind and Waves to restrain the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings' Dragon Bones, then severed their heads with the Sea God Trident.
  • Di Tian revealed that he had studied Tang San's Unfixed Wind and Waves and created a purple-disc Divine Skill of his own.
  • Di Tian's purple discs surrounded Tang San, who initially believed the technique could not restrain him.
  • Tang San tried to escape through a gap, but the discs acted as spatial passages and sent him back into the cage.
  • Tang San raced through the cage with Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, but Di Tian repeatedly redirected him until he stopped, exhausted.
  • Tang San challenged Di Tian to enter the cage and fight, and Di Tian told him to come out if he wanted to talk.

Ch. 29Sea-Playing God?!

Di Tian trapped Tang San in a cage of purple light discs and mocked him while attacking him with increasingly powerful soul-energy spheres. Tang San empowered his divine sense clone and broke out with a water dragon, but Di Tian turned the attack back on him and destroyed him in an explosion.

  • Di Tian used the light-disc cage to multiply and redirect his attacks, leaving Tang San badly wounded as he dodged.
  • Tang San's psychic attack was redirected through the discs and struck back at him, while Di Tian mocked him as the “Sea-Playing God.”
  • Enraged, Tang San summoned a pillar of divine light, raised his clone to First-Level God strength, and unleashed the Sea God Realm and a dragon of True Lunar Water.
  • Tang San's water dragon absorbed the attacks and tore open the cage, then charged at Di Tian with Tang San following.
  • Di Tian swallowed the water dragon in a giant light disc and sealed Tang San inside a cube of discs.
  • The water dragon emerged near Tang San and released its stored attacks, killing his divine sense clone in a massive explosion.

Ch. 30Can a Soul Tool Slay a God?

Holy Spirit Cult leaders and Shrek Academy reacted to the Sky Screen’s revelations as factions mobilized around the Dragon Vein and Xiao Xiao. While Xuan Zi weighed using Zhang Lexuan as bait to catch Wu Wei, the Sky Screen lit up again.

  • Zhongli Wu ordered Holy Spirit Cult soul masters below Soul Saint rank to avoid Sunset Forest and summoned the Elders, while Long Xiaoyao regretted falling behind Mu En.
  • Shrek Academy celebrated Tang San’s defense of Shrek, and Mu En reflected on his suppressed Dragon Core and wondered where Long Xiaoyao was.
  • Over two days, forces guarded Heaven Dou City and Sunset Forest, while Shrek City faced a surge of intruders targeting Xiao Xiao, one of the people needed to undo the Dragon Vein’s seal.
  • Xuan Zi killed another intruder and considered whether to use Zhang Lexuan disguised as Xiao Xiao to lure Wu Wei, after rejecting Xiao Xiao’s offer to act as bait.
  • The Sky Screen suddenly lit up, drawing the attention of people across Douluo Continent.

Ch. 32Three Months, Three Divine Skills!

  • A vast, frenzied Soul Beast army gathered outside Shrek City, where Xian Lin'er, Yan Shaozhe, and the academy’s defenders prepared for an attack focused on the main gate.
  • Bi Ji asked Di Tian why he had launched the beast tide, and he explained that he had absorbed the Dragon Vein, attained the God Level, and sought revenge on humanity.
  • Di Tian gave Bi Ji, Xiong Jun, King of Ten Thousand Demons, and Scarlet King knowledge of two one-use Divine Skills he had created during three months of seclusion.
  • Xiong Jun asked to test his new Divine Skill against Xuan Zi, and Di Tian allowed him to advance toward Shrek City.
  • Xiong Jun confronted Xuan Zi, who summoned the Godly Taotie Bull as the two armies prepared for battle.

Ch. 33Di Tian's Time-Based Divine Skills

  • Xuan Zi trapped Xiong Jun with Gravity Control and struck him with the Godly Taotie Bull, but Xiong Jun emerged unharmed.
  • Xiong Jun counterattacked with four claw marks, forcing Xuan Zi to defend himself and leaving him wounded.
  • Xiong Jun resumed the fight without fearing injury because Heavenly Timing locked his condition and delayed the costs of damage and energy use.
  • Xiong Jun relied on Time Hand to restore himself by severing a second’s worth of damage from his timeline, and he took control of the battle against Xuan Zi.

Ch. 34Mu En Appears

Xuan Zi and Shrek’s defenders were overwhelmed by Xiong Jun and the other Ferocious Beasts, whose strength and durability had been enhanced by a divine skill. Just as Xiong Jun was about to kill the bound Xuan Zi and gravely wounded Lin Huiqun, Mu En appeared as a remnant soul to protect Shrek.

  • Xiong Jun’s relentless assault drove Xuan Zi back, and Song Yunzhi and Lin Huiqun joined the battle to support him.

  • As Xiong Jun plunged toward Xuan Zi and Lin Huiqun, the Golden Tree released a brilliant light and an illusory dragon shattered Xuan Zi’s bindings.
  • Mu En emerged from the dragon shadow as a remnant soul, and Shrek’s defenders recognized their former Sea God Pavilion master.

Ch. 35The Weak Taotie

Mu En awakened Xuan Zi’s Taotie Bloodline and fused with him, allowing Xuan Zi to capture Xiong Jun and King of Ten Thousand Demons before confronting Di Tian. Di Tian rejected Xuan Zi’s demand to withdraw, and Xuan Zi attacked him with a black-hole-like technique.

  • Mu En’s remnant soul awakened Xuan Zi’s Taotie Bloodline and fused with him through the Golden Tree, transforming his martial soul into a colossal Taotie.
  • Xuan Zi seized Xiong Jun and uprooted King of Ten Thousand Demons, while Scarlet King escaped into the soul beast horde and Song Yunzhi carried the wounded Lin Huiqun back toward the city wall.
  • Xuan Zi called out Di Tian, who appeared above the battlefield and declared that there would be no negotiation with humanity.
  • Xuan Zi tried to crush Xiong Jun and King of Ten Thousand Demons, but Di Tian’s Heavenly Timing protected them, so Xuan Zi hurled them away from Shrek instead.

Ch. 36Tang San Reappears!
