Background / History

Qian Xunji is the son of Qian Daoliu and the senior brother of Qian Yu. As Pope, he commands Martial Soul Hall and holds authority over its Saintess, Bibi Dong. He personally cultivated Bibi Dong with Martial Soul Hall’s resources and considers her talent an asset that must remain under the organization’s control. 2 15

When Bibi Dong attempts to leave Martial Soul Hall with Yu Xiaogang, Qian Xunji detains Yu and orders Bibi Dong to abandon her plans. Viewing her relationship with Yu Xiaogang as both a waste of exceptional talent and a challenge to Martial Soul Hall’s authority, he offers her an ultimatum: marry Qian Yu or see Yu Xiaogang executed. 1 2
