What the drunken Tristifer. Farwynd didn't notice was that when the castle door was opened, Maron. Greyjoy's "team" had dispersed naturally and smoothly, quietly penetrating into every key node.
Tristifer. Farwynd was completely unaware of this, all his attention was focused on the young master of House Greyjoy or the prince of Iron Islands.
He pressed the wine glass almost to Maron. Greyjoy's chin. The wine swayed and a few drops splashed out:
"Come, Master Maron, have a taste of Riverlands's fine wine!"
"This wine and the women here are much better than those on Iron Islands!"
He laughed loudly, and the Ironborn who were following him also burst into laughter, but they did not notice the Maron. Greyjoy in front of him who was trembling all over and stopped talking.
At this moment, a young man next to Maron. Greyjoy slowly raised his head, and the shadow receded from his face, revealing Suleiman's calm face without any emotion.
Suleiman's voice was not loud, but it easily cut through all the noise in this carnival scene:
"Are you the leader here?"
Tristifer. Farwynd's laughter stopped abruptly. He was stunned for a moment. He didn't seem to understand the question, or he didn't expect someone to be so rude. Who is this kid? Maron. Greyjoy How does he manage his crew? He didn't say anything, how dare you speak.
He threw the wine glass to the ground with a cold face, it seemed that he had to take care of it on his behalf:
"What the hell are you talking about?
!1
, before he could finish his words, Suleiman moved, his movement was as fast as lightning, Tristifer. Farwynd's pupils dilated instantly, his eyes were full of horror and disbelief, and he could not react in any way.
Almost instantly, Suleiman's right hand pulled out a short knife from his waist. Without any pause, the cold blade went from bottom to top, deeply piercing Tristifer's soft lower abdomen, and then slashed upward!
Poof! Warm blood and internal organs mixed with wine spurted out from Tristifer's abdomen. He couldn't even let out a scream, he just kept his eyes wide open and his body fell limply.
This bloody scene is a signal.
"Do it!!!" Rosso's roar was like thunder, exploding at the city gate.
The scattered knights burst into action at the same time, and the gate of the castle instantly turned into a bloody slaughterhouse. The daggers passed through the throats of the shocked Ironborns from behind, and the long swords were thrust from the backs. A few of the faster reacters tried to resist, but none of their weapons were at hand. They could only watch in shock and confusion as Maron. Greyjoy died with eyes open.
Suleiman let out a low whistle and waved his hand. Without looking at the twitching corpse at his feet, he was the first to enter the doorway. The Myr Sword in his hand drew an icy arc under the light of the torch.
The heavily armed knights in chainmail followed closely behind, without making any war cry. There were only the heavy sounds of armor rubbing and footsteps stepping on stone slabs. Like a silent black tide, they silently poured into the castle of House Grell.
Maron. Greyjoy His legs went weak and he collapsed to the ground. Why, why is it me...
I'm done, I'm completely done.
But it was no longer his turn to regret it. Sir Keke of House Vance grabbed his collar with his iron-like hands and roughly dragged him up from the ground. He was wrapped in the middle of the team, unable to say a word. He was both a hostage and a pathetic shield.
In the hall, the carnival continued.
The smoky smell of alcohol mixed with the greasy smell of barbecue, and the Ironborns' wild laughter intertwined with the women's sobs.
"Captain Tristifer, does it take so long to pick someone up?" A Ironborn with a stern face put his feet up on the long table and shouted impatiently.
"Whatever, maybe he's dragging that Greyjoy kid to pee on the city wall so we can see his gadgets!"
Another Ironborn's dirty talk caused a burst of laughter.
Damon. Grell was firmly tied to the lord's throne, and tears of humiliation fell from his cheeks. He listened to these bastards talking about Greyjoy's son, and there was no joy in his heart, only endless despair.
He raised his head in despair and looked at the open door. Another sea monster came, which would only make his family suffer more torture and humiliation. He was ready to face the next round of humiliation. Maybe this was divine punishment, the price for his original choice to surrender Drowned Men.
However, the scene that appeared at the door made the blood in his body freeze instantly.
There is no Maron. Greyjoy, no dirty curses of Ironborn, no flag of Iron Islands, only a young man holding a blood-stained slender sword, with cold eyes full of murderous intent.
Behind him were countless ferocious Warriors who were fully armed, exuding strong murderous aura, and with different markings. The blood on their bodies had not yet dried, and the weapons in their hands shone with the light of death under the torches.
The laughter in the hall stopped abruptly.
All Ironborn were stunned. The drunkenness on their faces quickly faded and was replaced by a huge shock and fear. They didn't understand why the door of the castle was open to such a group of people. Where did this group of people come from? What was the situation? Damon. Grell's brains went blank. Hope came suddenly in the most bloody, brutal and incredible way.
Suleiman's team didn't give anyone time to react. Like a meat cleaver, they cut into the trembling piece of fat with precision and found the cutting point of the fat. There was no shouting or roaring, only the dull sound of the weapons breaking through the flesh and the frighteningly efficient killing.
The team was divided into several groups the moment they entered the hall. A group of Warrior entered the hall and walked straight to the weapon racks on the wall. Several Ironborn who reacted and tried to grab weapons were knocked over by them with their shields, and then stabbed through the chest with a long sword.
Several other groups rushed in simultaneously along both sides of the long table, launching a one-sided harvest on the drunken Ironborn who were still in a daze and full of doubts.
Ironborn, who was completely drunk, had just raised his wine glass and was about to continue drinking. One hand stretched out from behind him and covered his mouth. The dagger in the other hand swiped across his neck cleanly, and warm blood spurted into the wine glass.
Another Ironborn sitting on the chair subconsciously touched the dagger hidden in his boot, but a foot wearing an iron boot kicked him hard, knocking him backwards, and then a long sword nailed him to the floor from top to bottom.
The wine glass was swept to the ground, making a crisp crackling sound, the heavy oak table was kicked over, roast pig and bread rolled on the floor, and were quickly soaked with blood and brains. These predators who were dominating the sea were as fragile as lambs under the dual effects of alcohol and surprise, and they could not even organize any effective resistance.
The hall was reduced to a slaughterhouse, with women's screams, Ironborn's cackling sounds before death, and the muffled sound of weapons penetrating into bones, all intertwined into a death movement.
Suleiman walked through the chaotic crowd and walked straight to the high platform. His steps were steady and he turned a blind eye to the carnage around him, as if he was just walking in his own garden.
A burly Ironborn roared and rushed towards him brandishing a long sword. Suleiman easily dodged. With a flick of his wrist, the long sword was lifted upward at a tricky angle. At the moment when the opponent's door was wide open due to excessive force, the long sword was sent forward, and the tip of the sword penetrated the Ironborn's jaw and penetrated his head.
Suleiman pulled out the long sword and warm blood splashed on his face, but he didn't care.
He walked up to Damon. Grell who was tied up and looked shocked. He glanced at the two shivering women beside him. He grabbed two relatively clean tablecloths on the table and threw them to the two poor women. Then, he waved his sword and the ropes binding Damon. Grell snapped.
Suleiman didn't say another word, he just threw the long sword that he had just snatched from Ironborn's hand to Damon. Grell.
A cold touch came from the palm of his hand, Damon. Greer was free again.
Damon. Grell held the sword and looked at the strange young man in front of him and at the ferocious group of bloody Warriors behind him who were slaughtering his enemies. His brain was buzzing with the huge impact from hell to heaven.
He was stunned for a few seconds, and then, a desire for revenge that had been suppressed all night, like volcanic lava, burst out from the deepest part of his heart, and his eyes instantly turned blood red.
"Ah!!!!" A roar that didn't sound like a human voice was squeezed out of his throat. He turned around and pounced on the nearest Ironborn.
The anger made him forget the training he received as a knight. He just used all his strength to stab the long sword in his hand into the opponent's back. The sound of the long sword piercing the body was so clear.
Damon. Grell pulled out the sword and stabbed it in again, once, twice, three times.
Like a crazy beast, he kept slashing and stabbing the weapon in his hand into Ironborn's body until the opponent turned into a puddle of mud.
The battle ended in a very short period of time. When Damon Greer raised his head, the hall had returned to dead silence. Except for Suleiman's soldiers, there was not a single Ironborn standing.
Corpses lay scattered on the ground, and the air was filled with the disgusting smell of blood, the smell of alcohol and filth. The knights began to clean up the battlefield in an orderly manner. They calmly walked past each corpse and struck the enemies who were still twitching without hesitation.
Their movements were skillful and quick, as if they were just dealing with some garbage that was in the way.
Damon. Grell stood covered in blood among the corpses, breathing heavily. Two knights brought Mrs. Elena and Laila, who were tightly wrapped in tablecloths, to Damon. His wife and daughter threw themselves into his arms, letting out suppressed cries.
He hugged them tightly, but looked over their shoulders and towards the strange young man.
Who is this person?
