Late at night, in the lord's bedroom, Evelyn was recording the laws and regulations dictated by him for Suleiman.

This woman has become more and more silent. This young man's knowledge has far surpassed that of a small lord, and even surpassed that of a big lord, even the guardian and the king.

As she wrote, she looked at the young man in front of her with her clear blue eyes, and gave her opinions from time to time. This young man was very arbitrary, but would ask for her own understanding and be willing to listen to her own suggestions.

She became more and more curious about how this little nobleman named Suleiman, the youngest son in the family, knew so many things.

"Suleiman Master!" His thinking was interrupted, and two sturdy figures walked out of the darkness outside the door, kneeling on one knee, and Yishen made a slight rubbing sound.

Suleiman looked away from Evelyn's delicate but ugly face. He somewhat admired this woman's disguise skills.

Look at Lushen and Roslyn.

Suleiman ordered the two of them, "Tonight, you two are going to select the twenty most reliable veterans. Remember, you must have a good mouth." Disguise yourself as wandering robbers and bandits. Remove all identifying things from their bodies. Cover your face and say less. I don't want to hear any negative news."

Evelyn raised his head and looked at the young lord who gave clear instructions to attack his subjects. In order to achieve his own goals, the young lord used extremely sophisticated methods.

"Burn down a few empty thatched huts that no one lives in, steal their chickens, ducks and livestock, smash their doors and windows, and chop on the door panels with your swords to make them hear the sound."

"Remember, don't kill or seriously injure any of the villagers. Your goal is to spread fear. They are very useful to me. Don't hurt them."

"Dawn must end before, create enough chaos and fear, and then quickly disappear into the forest with the loot,

Leave no trace behind."

"Remember! All actions are designed to make them feel unsafe! Feel scared!"

"Yes! Master Suleiman!" Lushen and Roslyn looked at each other with no doubts in their eyes. They resolutely followed Master Suleiman's orders. They had never seen Master Suleiman make any mistakes.

The night of Mountain Pass Village was so quiet that you could hear the sound of dew falling on the ground, and from time to time there were a few barking dogs and the croaking of frogs.

The farmer Old Hans in the village had just tucked his sleeping son into bed and smiled. Since Master Suleiman ruled this land, he has not forced anything from them, and has also refunded their taxes this year. Although their lives are poor, they are much better than when House Terry.

There was a continuous barking at the entrance of the village. The barking sound was fast and scary, followed by screams and whines and then lost its voice.

As soon as he heard it, he knew he had been killed.

Old Hans's heart tightened, and he had a premonition that something bad was going to happen. Before he could get up, countless voices came from the village, and the voices were boiling, making his heart beat violently.

There were shouts and curses everywhere, and the sound of violent knocks on the wooden doors. Every time there was such a movement, it was only when House Terry forced conquest that there would be such a noise.

Old Hans rushed to the door and looked out through the cracks in the wooden boards. There was fire! There were fires everywhere! The whole village was as bright as day!

He heard the screams from the carpenter's house in the village, and the cries of the carpenter's wife and children for help, but saw that no one in the village rushed out to help.

But he didn't dare go out to help, because he saw the firelight reflecting tall figures on the wall. Those figures were holding weapons and torches, and used the torches in their hands to light everything that could burn.

There were constant sounds of banging on doors, curses, the screams of livestock and women crying for help. It was so tragic and miserable.

It completely broke the previous tranquility of this small village.

He knew that everyone in the entire village had been awakened like him from the beginning, but people just hoped that the robbers would not find their home, just like they did when they were forced by House Terry.

At this moment, he hated the villagers' weakness so much, even though he was one of them.

"Please, Holy Mother of Mercy." Old Hans closed his eyes, his voice trembled, and kept praying to Seven, asking Seven to bless him. But when the footsteps outside were getting closer and closer, he had already begun to pray together with Old Gods.

Obviously the kind lord has arrived, and the days will obviously get better day by day.

Without God's protection, he saw several robbers laughing maniacally and walking towards his home. Old Hans was so frightened that he ran back to hug his wife and children who had been awakened. He covered their mouths with his hands, hinting them not to make a sound, for fear that they would cry out and attract the robbers.

He could feel his teeth chattering uncontrollably and making a soft rattling sound. He hugged his family members tightly with his arms, comforting his family members who were also trembling with fear.

Finally, he heard that his family was being taken away. Old Hans took one last look at his family, walked out tremblingly, and knelt down to the robbers:

"Please, don't hurt us. You can take everything away. I just ask you not to hurt my family."

But the robbers ignored him. They roughly stuffed a few frightened chickens into sacks, broke into his sheepfold, and took away the only goat.

Then he punched him down, who was standing in front of the door blocking the door, and rushed in to rummage through the boxes. His wife and children kept screaming in agony, and in the midst of the screams, the robbers took away all their belongings.

A robber lifted Old Hans from the ground:

"Prepare all your valuables! Let's not go to such trouble next time when we come!"

"Remember! Get your things ready! Wait for us next time!"

"Come again next time! If what we want is not ready!! We will kill you!!!"

Old Hans nodded to the robbers with tears in his eyes.

Some robbed villagers tried to threaten. "Our lord is Suleiman Black Lion! He will bury you all alive!!"

Not only did his words not intimidate the robbers, but they were knocked to the ground with a punch and kicked violently.

"Wait until Black Lion comes! We have left long ago! He can't be by your side all the time!!!"

"I will hang you when the time comes!! Take your wife away for our enjoyment!! Throw all your children into the water!!!"

No one dared to resist, and no one in the entire village dared to come out to help. Every house extinguished the candles and hid in shivering, hoping that the robbers would not choose their own home and go to other people's homes, until the robbers ransacked house to house.

Then, just as suddenly as they came, the bandits quickly retreated into the dark forest outside the village, carrying the chickens, ducks and grain they had stolen, and disappeared without a trace.

Even though the robbers have left long ago, fear and despair remain, like a thick dark cloud, covering everyone's heart at Mountain Pass Village.

The villagers hid behind broken doors, hugging their families and shivering.

No one dared to open the door, no one dared to make a sound, and the whole village was silent, letting the flames burn. It was not until the Dawn on the horizon dispersed the last trace of night, and the sky became bright, that they dared to cautiously poke their heads out.
