Ch. 421Iron-Headed Haotian, the Great Dao's Punishment
Haotian denied the Heavenly Court's Great Dao wager, but Ziwei and Di Jun challenged him to face the oath's consequences. Haotian tried to have the oath abolished and was struck by a bolt of lightning from the Great Dao.
- Haotian arrived at Mount Shouyang and declared the wager invalid without his consent.
- A Human Race elder mocked Haotian about his childhood, and Haotian attacked him before Ziwei arrived to defend the Human Race.
- Haotian refused to honor the wager, while Yuanshi, Laozi, and Zhun Ti also argued that it did not count.
- Di Jun challenged the Sages to test whether the Great Dao would accept breaking its oath, and Laozi urged Haotian to try.
- Haotian invoked the Great Dao to abolish the oath, but a tremendous bolt of lightning struck him before he could finish.
