Zi Yan hurriedly followed after him.
"Hey, hey, hey, can I watch you refine pills?"
Without turning his head, Liu Bai replied,

Zi Yan's eyes lit up, and she eagerly trotted after him.

Refining a single pill often required countless painstaking efforts before it could succeed.
But Liu Bai?
Batch after batch, as easily as eating and drinking.
"Y-you... are you really human?"
Liu Bai laughed and rubbed her head.
"All right, don't stay in here. Go play with Qing Lin."
Zi Yan pouted, got to her feet, and skipped out of the room.
Liu Bai withdrew his gaze and continued refining pills.
The line outside was still a long one.
Time drifted on...
Inside the alchemy room, the flames continued to surge.
Liu Bai sat cross-legged before the Myriad Beast Cauldron, black flames blazing within it and casting flickering light and shadow
